‘Harrow.’

Filming of the third season of Hoodlum Entertainment/the ABC’s Harrow resumed on Monday in Brisbane and South-East Queensland after star Ioan Gruffudd came out of quarantine.

Production of the 10-part series was shut down in March due to Covid-19 with just seven days to go. Gruffudd returned to Los Angeles so producers Tracey Robertson and Nathan Mayfield had to obtain permission from Border Force to bring him back.

Scripted by co-creators Stephen M. Irwin and Leigh McGrath and Michaeley O’Brien, the Screen Queensland-backed show follows Gruffudd’s forensic pathologist Doctor Daniel Harrow as he investigates the death of a young man who claimed to be his son and gets entangled in a dangerous criminal underworld.

Faustina Agolley, who guest starred in the second series, plays Edwina Gharam, Harrow’s new assistant, joining Jolene Anderson (Dr Grace Molyneux), Damien Garvey (Detective Sergeant Bryan Nichols), Darren Gilshenan (Lyle...

'Video Hits' airs for last time in Australia
Video Hits (1986)
Video Hits has aired in Australia for the last time. The music show's presenters Dylan Lewis and Faustina Agolley bid farewell to viewers in the final episode this weekend, thanking them and the Ten Network for their support during 24 years on television, The Daily Telegraph reports. Lewis said: "Thank you to Channel Ten for letting us be on air for 24 years, thank you to all the bands and record companies and artists who have appeared on the show, thank you for watching." Faustina Agolley: 'Video Hits axing is sad'
Faustina Agolley has described the cancellation of Video Hits as "sad". The Australian television personality, who presents the long-running music show, said that she is not surprised that it was axed during a Ten Network "restructure" recently because the television industry is constantly changing. Agolley told the Herald Sun: "Change is inevitable in the landscape of television. It is sad for the show and the viewers. I'm not sad about this job that I love coming to an end. With my perspective, this is nothing compared to some of the stuff I have had to deal with in my personal life." She revealed that she is looking forward to finding more work and would love to do "something more cerebral where I don't say 'dude' every few minutes". (more)...

Network Ten axe Video Hits
After 24 years Network Ten has axed flagship music program Video Hits.

Current hosts Faustina Agolley and Dylan Lewis will officially sign off on the final show, Saturday 6 August with a retrospective from the best moments from the past two decades.

Video Hits premiered on Ten on 15 February 1987, originally as a video-clip based program before evolving to include interviews, hosts, live music events and presenting partners and tours to its format.

The Australian reports Sports Tonight is also cancelled and across the network 60 editorial, engineering and operations roles have been cut while up to 40 non-contract staff have told they were no longer needed.

The newspaper also reports that no presenters have been axed but the roles of George Negus and Sandra Sully remain uncertain. Ten also closed down its publicity and marketing departments in Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane.
