'The Terminal List' Season 2 to Make "Mandatory Changes" From the Books
Image
Prime Video’s proudly “anti-woke” action thriller will be making some “mandatory changes” as it heads into its second season. Starring Chris Pratt2 as a US Navy Seal with a conflicting memory, The Terminal List is one of the streamer’s biggest action hits outside of Reacher, and while the upcoming second season won’t be changing its approach too much, creator Jack Carr has now stated that some changes are needed.

These changes pertain to how closely The Terminal List adapts the books on which it’s based. Carr, who not only wrote the book series but is also credited as co-creator and an executive producer on the series, has explained (via People) why The Terminal List Season 2 will need to veer away from his source material as it heads into its next chapter. And it’s all to do with what’s happened in the real world...

Netflix Officially Confirms the Fate of Arnold Schwarzenegger's CIA Show
Image
Netflix has canceled Fubar after Season 2's lackluster performance, despite positive reception from audiences. It's bittersweet news for fans, because the series finale is now a cliffhanger that will never be resolved.

Fubar has been canceled following Season 2's disappointing launch. Per Deadline, Season 2's June premiere barely made the Netflix weekly top ten, garnering 2.2 million views over a four-day weekend; Season 1 raked in 11 million views in the same run. Season 2 performed better on its first full week, peaking at 3.3 million views. It re-entered the rankings in its third week, grabbing tenth place with 1.8 million views.

The show has since dropped out of the streamer's most-watched list. Fubar Season 1 featured a powerhouse ensemble led by Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gabriel Luna, and Monica Barbaro, who recently received an Oscar nomination for A Complete Unknown. The show's premise had potential: Luke Brunner (Schwarzenegger) and his daughter Emma (Barbaro) are both CIA operatives, neither...

Netflix Cancel Arnold Schwarzenegger Action Fubar After 2 Seasons
Image
Arnold Schwarzenegger will not be back on Netflix after his action series Fubar finally lived up to its name after two seasons. Season 2 of the Terminator star’s first leading-role TV appearance aired back in June to very mixed reviews and a lackluster viewership, so perhaps its fate is not the most surprising outcome for the series.

The cancellation means that the insane adventures of Luke Brunner (Schwarzenegger) and his CIA-agent daughter Emma (Monica Barbaro) have now come to a close, and we will not see how their father/daughter bickering could have continued to play out in another series. This will be a disappointment to fans who embraced the show’s blatant tongue-in-cheek approach to the action genre, which played tropes from every Schwarzenegger movie of the last four decades.

Created by Reacher show-runner Nick Santora and produced by Skydance Television, Fubar arrived with a bang on Netflix...

Netflix Axes Another Series After Just Two Seasons
Image
Netflix has decided not to continue with a third season of Fubar, the spy action series starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. This announcement came about a month and a half after Season 2 was released on June 12, 2025. Despite Schwarzenegger’s huge star power, the show struggled to keep its audience, leading to the cancellation after just two seasons.

Fubar first premiered in May 2023 and had a strong start, helped in part by Schwarzenegger’s worldwide fame. Monica Barbaro, who stars alongside him, had also gained attention by becoming an Oscar nominee between the first and second seasons for her work in A Complete Unknown. However, when Season 2 finally arrived more than two years later, the show’s viewership dropped sharply.

According to Netflix viewing data, Season 2 barely made it into the Top 10 English-language shows during its first week, landing at the very bottom with 2.2 million views from Thursday to Sunday. This was a...

Image
How Much Did The Last Of Us Cast Earn? (Photo Credit – Instagram)

HBO’s The Last of Us is undoubtedly one of the most acclaimed shows in recent years. After wrecking the viewers’ emotional well-being with season 1, the series returned with another season on HBO in April 2025.

Based on the popular video game of the same name, the show is led by Pedro Pascal, who plays Joel, and Bella Ramsey, who plays Ellie. Although the second season received mixed reviews from audiences and critics and didn’t create the impact like the first, it resonated with many viewers.

Pascal’s fatherly emotions escalated even further in this series, while Ramsey brought sass and an emotional quotient. While people enjoyed the storyline of a survival drama in the first season, in the second, the plot shows their story years later and delves deeper into the characters. But do you know how...

'The Last of Us' Co-Creator's Shock Exit Ahead of Season 3 Addressed by HBO Max Boss
Image
The Last of Us is preparing for its next chapter — but without one of its most important creators. Following news that Naughty Dog studio head and The Last of Us game creator Neil Druckmann is stepping away from the HBO adaptation ahead of Season 3, Casey Bloys, Chairman/CEO of HBO and Max content, has officially weighed in on the decision and what it means for the future of the Emmy-winning series. Speaking with Variety during a celebratory round of interviews following HBO and Max’s record-breaking 142 Emmy nominations, Bloys addressed the elephant in the room: Druckmann’s departure.

"Obviously it was great to have Neil involved in the beginning. The whole reason that I wanted to do Last of Us is after Chernobyl, I said to Craig [Mazin], ‘What do you want to do next?’ And Last of Us was what he wanted to do. That’s what was most important...

‘The Last of Us’ earns 16 Emmy nominations — but has 3 shocking snubs
Image
Emmy voters are still infected with The Last of Us, rewarding the zombified series with 16 nominations on Tuesday, including Best Drama Series. Notably, Season 2 of HBO's adaptation of the popular video-game series didn't get everything for which it submitted, and there are three notable snubs that are causing an uproar on social media: supporting actress Isabela Merced, and the standout episode "Through The Valley" in both directing and writing.

Here are the categories The Last of Us got into — and missed.

Best Drama Series: Nominated

It was never a question whether the fungal apocalypse drama would receive a series bid, since Season 1 scored 24 nominations and won eight trophies in 2023. The Last of Us ended up placing fourth in Gold Derby's Best Drama Series predictions by the time the nominations were announced. It finds itself nominated alongside Andor, The Diplomat, Paradise, The Pitt, Severance, Slow Horses, and The White Lotus.

Emmys 2025 Diversity Report: Worst Showing for Actors of Color in 5 Years Despite Historic Nominations
Image
The 2025 Emmy nominations delivered meaningful gains in representation across race, gender and identity, with a few concerning declines.

A total of 94 actors were recognized in the main acting categories — lead, supporting and guest. Of those 24 are Poc, a decline from the past five years. In 2024, 30 were performers of color, making up 31% of the nominees, which was an increase from 2023 and 2021, though it fell short of the 2022 peak, when 42 of 108 nominees (39%) were people of color, the most in Emmys history. Look at the last decade of numbers to see how this year compares:

“Abbott Elementary” creator, executive producer and star Quinta Brunson continues her historic Emmy run for hit ABC mockumentary. After becoming the first solo Black woman to win for comedy writing in 2022, and the second Black woman to win lead comedy actress in 2023, she now ties Stefani Robinson (“Atlanta” and “What We Do in the Shadows”) for the most...

'The Last of Us' Season 3 Shakeups Continue as 'Westworld' Writer Also Departs the HBO Series

It's the day of the long knives at The Last of Us—and this time, it’s not just Neil Druckmann stepping back as Halley Gross, who previously worked on Westworld and co-wrote The Last of Us Part II alongside Druckmann, has now confirmed she won’t be returning to the HBO adaptation as it heads into Season 3. Gross, a key figure in the series from the very beginning, joined Druckmann in announcing her departure.

With great care and consideration, I've decided to take a step back from my day-to-day work on HBO's The Last of Us to make space for what comes next. I'm so appreciative of how special this experience has been. Working alongside Neil, Craig, HBO, and this remarkable cast and crew has been life changing. The stories we told - about love, loss, and what it means to be human in a terrifying world are exactly why I love this franchise.

Ryan Gosling Joins Avengers: Doomsday’s Cast As Ghost Rider In MCU Art
Image
Ryan Gosling is transformed into the Marvel Cinematic Universe's version of Ghost Rider in exciting Avengers: Doomsday art. Nicolas Cage gave life to the Johnny Blaze iteration of Ghost Rider in two live-action movies. Deadpool & Wolverine, one of the McU's most successful movies, originally planned to have Cage return as the character, but that ended up not working out.

Marvel also brought another version of Ghost Rider from the comics to live-action in Agents of Shield. The TV show, which has a murky status as MCU canon or not, had The Last of Us star Gabriel Luna play the Robbie Reyes version of Ghost Rider. At the moment, Luna is not set to return, so another Ghost Rider could arise.

On Instagram, @the.armanofficial imagined what Ryan Gosling could look like as the McU's Ghost Rider in Avengers: Doomsday.

Fubar Season 1 on Netflix: Recap & Ending Explained – Did Boro Really Die?
Image
The title Fubar might catch you off guard at first—it sounds strange, almost like a joke. But it’s actually military slang for “Fucked Up Beyond All Recognition,” which, in hindsight, fits the show like a glove. Everything about Fubar screams chaos—characters constantly caught in messy situations, missions spiraling out of control, and secrets exploding at the worst possible moments.

At the heart of the story are Luke Brunner and his daughter Emma—both living double lives as CIA agents without knowing the other is doing the same. Their entire dynamic is built on lies until a shared assignment blows the lid off everything. What follows is part spy-thriller, part messy family drama, as Luke and Emma stumble their way through rebuilding trust, learning to see each other not just as father and daughter, but as flawed, layered individuals trying to make sense of the wreckage together.

Arnold Schwarzenegger's Fubar Season 2 Didn't Impress the Critics (But the Audience Loved It)
Image
Netflix's action-adventure spy series Fubar brought back Arnold Schwarzenegger in a leading role, this time on television. The series debuted in 2023, and just returned with Season 2.

Season 1 was not a big hit with the critics, and received lukewarm reactions from the audience. However, things vastly improved for the new installment, with the show even debuting with a fresh score. As more reviews came in, that has changed slightly, but Fubar Season 2 has the critics and the audience divided with very different scores on Rotten Tomatoes.

Fubar Season 2 originally debuted with a "fresh" 67% rating from the critics, higher than the first season's 50% approval. As more reviews came in, the score eventually settled on a 56% out of nine reviews. Although the series has failed to hold on to a "fresh" score, it received an exciting score from the audience.

Season 1 had a passable 68% score from the audience, which was just enough...

Arnold Schwarzenegger Blames L.A. Ice Raids on Republicans and Democrats’ Lack of Immigration Reform: ‘They’re All Political Hacks Rather Than Public Servants’
Image
Arnold Schwarzenegger, former governor of California, commented on the Los Angeles immigration protests and Ice raids while on the red carpet for the Season 2 premiere of his Netflix series, “Fubar.”

On the topic of President Trump’s decision to send in the National Guard and the Marines to the site of the protests, Schwarzenegger told Variety, “Well, I’m not so much interested in that as I am that the politicians have the responsibility to create immigration reform so we don’t have to have this crap going on in the first place.”

“This is the result of Democrats and Republicans not being able to come together in this immigration reform. And so that’s what needs to be done so that you don’t have to go and start arresting people in the first place, so we know who is in this country and who is working here, who has the temporary working permit,...

Arnold Schwarzenegger Is Proud to Bring ‘Fubar’ to a Global Stage Amid LA Unrest
Image
The show must go on — and Arnold Schwarzenegger is proud to be a part of “Fubar” Season 2, even as his fellow Californians protest against Immigration and Customs Enforcement elsewhere in Los Angeles.

“I’m proud to be able to entertain people all around the world,” he told TheWrap at the Netflix premiere in Hollywood on Wednesday. “It’s one thing to be able to do a movie that’s good for Austria, but it’s another thing to really entertain people in the Middle East, in Africa, in Australia, in Asia, in Europe, in America, South America, North America, in all of those places. That to me is the important thing.”

“The great thing about Season 2, you can come together and you don’t have to second-guess anyone’s performance or what they’re thinking. You know each other,” Schwarzenegger added. “You come together, you read through the script together...

Arnold Schwarzenegger's Fubar Season 2's Rotten Tomatoes Score Sees Big Difference From Season 1
Image
After a long wait, Arnold Schwarzenegger's Netflix show FUBARis back. The series debuted in May 2023 and, after a two-year wait, Fubar is back with Season 2.

In Fubar, Schwarzenegger plays Luke Brunner alongside Monica Barbaro, who plays his daughter, Emma. For years, the father-daughter duo have both secretly worked as CIA operatives without the other knowing, and finally found out the truth in Season 1. Season 1 was filled with family drama but didn't impress the critics, but Season 2 finally gave the show a positive ranking, debuting with a "fresh" 67% from the critics on Rotten Tomatoes.

Season 1 had a "rotten" score of 50%, but a more positive response from the audience, who gave the show a 68% approval on the Popcornmeter. Fubar Season 2 gets a "fresh" score with its 67% initial rating. Since the new season just debuted on Netflix, it doesn't have an audience score at the time of press.

The new rating comes from six reviews,...

Netflix Finally Releases Season 2 of 1 of Arnold Schwarzenegger's Best Ever TV Shows
Image
The wait is over, as the second season of Fubar is now on Netflix. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger with the movie legend taking the action to the small screen, many fans say that the series is must-see for anyone who loves the Predator star.

Fubar Season 1 premiered in May 2023, making the wait for new episodes just over two years. In the show, Schwarzenegger plays Luke Brunner alongside Monica Barbaro as Emma Brunner — Luke's daughter. For years, both Brunners have secretly worked as CIA operatives, unbeknownst to one another. Fubar picks up with the two finally learning that they are both in the same field, leading them to also question what else they don't know about each other. Meanwhile, they must also work together on dangerous operations.

Nick Santora created the series. Along with Schwarzenegger and Barbaro, the show also stars Milan Carter, Gabriel Luna, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Fabiana Udenio,...

Fubar Season 2 TV Review: Arnold Schwarzenegger is back in Netflix’s spy comedy series
Image
Plot: Luke Brunner is a veteran CIA operative who, up until recently, was on the verge of retirement. After his last mission in saving another operative – who just so happened to be his daughter – he’s back and face to face with new villains. This one is an old flame from Luke’s past who threatens to destroy the world…if she doesn’t destroy his life first.

Review: Two years ago, the first season of Fubar debuted to middling reviews, mine included. Fans seemed to enjoy seeing Arnold Schwarzenegger back in comedy mode while delivering some action alongside the jokes. Still, the effort was another generic offering that fell far below the bar of Arnold’s better efforts. With Netflix cancelling The Recruit while renewing The Night Agent, the streaming platform’s focus on quality over star power may bode poorly for Fubar, which has not changed much since season one.

Fubar season 2 episode 1 recap: Luke and Emma get a new mission
Image
After the events of the season 1 finale, Fubar season 2, which premiered on Netflix on Thursday, June 12, begins with the ragtag team of CIA agents and their families holing up in a safehouse.

In "Fullest House," season 2, episode 1, we’ve got Luke (Arnold Schwarzenegger), Emma (Monica Barbaro), Tally (Fabiano Udenio), Roo (Fortune Feimster), Aldon (Travis Van Winkle), Barry (Milan Carter), Carter (Jay Baruchel), and Donnie (Andy Buckley).

There have been developments recently, as well. Luke and Tally are back together after their time in the safehouse, which is very depressing for Donnie, who is watching it all play out. Remember, Donnie and Tally were about to get married before they were attacked. Everyone is sick of living together, and they can’t wait for their lives to get back to normal.

That’s not the only love triangle of sorts forming, too. Emma and Aldon have some history that’s carried over into the new season.

Fubar season 2 release time and what you need to remember from season 1
Image
Fubar season 2 is coming to Netflix very soon! We've had this new season circled since Netflix announced it. Luckily, the wait is finally over!

Speaking of that wait between seasons, it has been a long one! Fubar starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Monica Barbaro premiered on Netflix way back in May 2023, so it's been over two years between seasons of the Netflix original series.

Fubar season 2 premieres on Netflix at 12:00 a.m. Pt on Thursday, June 12. You can watch all eight new episodes of season 2 starting at midnight. Of course, as we always say, it's rough for those on the East Coast who have to decide whether or not to stay up late, wake up super early, or just tune in late for the new seasons of the Netflix original shows.

We also shared the release time for some of the major time zones, as well.

Fubar season 1ending recap...

'The Last of Us' Creators Confirm Kaitlyn Dever's Abby as Season 3 Lead
Image
Spoilers for The Last of Us ahead. The Last of Us Season 2 ended a few weeks ago, finishing a new chapter of what has become one of the most polarizing shows in modern television. But as controversial as things got during Season 2, it is still a wildly popular video game adaptation. Season 3 is a go, but showrunners Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann have announced a major change for the future of the series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the showrunners behind the HBO adaptation appeared at an Emmys FYC event alongside other members of the crew. During the event, they started teasing the attendees with major details about the upcoming Season 3. "It's more of a water season than a fire season," Druckmann said, and Mazin backed him up when addressing the narrative style of the horror series. However, fans of the show will face another major change. The Last of Us...

‘The Last of Us’: Gabriel Luna on shooting flamethrowers and what Season 3 could mean for Tommy
Image
Making a television series can be a lot like surviving the apocalypse. Most of the time you're thrown together with a group of strangers and forced to overcome differences with the hopes of achieving something larger than yourself — maybe even forming a sort of family along the way.

And you shoot a flamethrower.

That's been Gabriel Luna's experience making The Last of Us, the massive HBO production that over the course of two seasons so far has turned its cast and crew into a community not dissimilar from the ragtag forces defending the walls of Jackson Hole, Wyo., from a horde of infected.

"It was very similar in the way that we kind of embraced each other off-screen and tried to build the fibers between the cast as quickly as we could," Luna told Gold Derby. "There were instances where people had kind of just met each other and...

The Last of Us showrunner confirms season 3 will focus on Abby
Image
The Last of Us season 2 ended on a massive cliffhanger, with Ellie (Bella Ramsey) staring down the barrel of a gun. We hear the shot that comes next, but don't see what happens to her. Instead, the scene shifts, putting us in the perspective of Abby (Kaitlyn Dever), the young woman who just shot at Ellie and who brutally beat Ellie's foster father Joel (Pedro Pascal) to death with a golf club in the second episode of the season. The ending stinger of the season rewinds the clock to the day one of Ellie's blood-soaked rampage through Seattle, except this time, we're going to see it all through Abby's eyes.

This is also how the story progresses in The Last of Us: Part II video game, but before the second season of the show aired, we didn't know whether it would follow suit. The video game was highly controversial for its untraditional approach to structure,...

‘The Last of Us’ costume designer Ann Foley on evolving Ellie’s wardrobe ‘from a 14-year-old kid to a woman’ (see the concept art)
Image
Coming aboard the second season of any series can be daunting, especially if it's The Last of Us. "Season 1 is an incredibly beautiful, special season of television," costume designer Ann Foley tells Gold Derby. "I was really excited by the opportunity to do Season 2," especially since it was so radically different from the first. See the concept art below.

"One of the things that drew me to Season 2 was that we have a time jump," Foley continues, "so it's five years later," which means "the characters are different." As well, the first season was "a road show," with teenager Ellie (Bella Ramsey) and her protector, Joel (Pedro Pascal), traveling across an apocalyptic wasteland besieged by infected humanoid monsters. "Now they're no longer on the road," having settled in the "functioning community" of Jackson, Wyo. Taking both these things into consideration, there were subtle wardrobe changes Foley needed to convey.

In the case of Joel,...

'The Last of Us' Cast Attends Emmys FYC Panel, Showrunner Talks Season 3 Plans
Image
The Last of Us cast and crew poses for photos before an Emmys FYC panel to talk about the future of the series!

Appearing for the event on Monday (June 9) were some of the show’s stars, including Bella Ramsey, Young Mazino, Isabela Merced, and Gabriel Luna. Along with members of the cast, crew members like executive producer Neil Druckmann appeared to discuss the show.

Keep reading to find out more…

During one panel, creator Neil talked about his journey to get an adaptation of his video game franchise created. According to Neil, the show being picked up by HBO was definitely for the best. He said on the panel, “I think it was good to go on that journey to end up at HBO, end up at a place that leaned into those controversial decisions, I guess.”

Although she wasn’t at the panel, Kaitlyn Dever joined virtually to...

‘The Last of Us’ Co-Creator Confirms Season 3 Will Center on Kaitlyn Dever’s Abby: ‘Spoiler Alert’
Image
“The Last of Us” co-creator Neil Druckmann confirmed at Monday night’s FYC panel that Season 3 will focus on Kaitlyn Dever’s character, Abby.

While discussing the amount of creative freedom HBO grants the show, Druckmann said, “I can’t believe that they let us structure the series in this way, meaning like, we just ended Season 2, and Season 3 is going to be starring — spoiler alert — Kaitlyn.”

Season 2 ended with a switch in perspective from Bella Ramsey’s character, Ellie, to Abby.

Dever, who joined the panel virtually, also spoke about taking on the character of Abby, considering that she notably killed fan-favorite Joel (Pedro Pascal) at the start of Season 2. “I guess the controversy surrounding Abby was never really a concern for me, just given my first meeting with Craig and Neil and how wonderful they are and how talented they are,” she said.

“I’ve never felt so...

It Starts On The Page (Drama): Read ‘The Last Of Us’ Episode 202 Script “Through The Valley” With Foreword By Craig Mazin
Image
Editor’s note: Deadline’s It Starts on the Page (Drama) features standout drama series scripts in 2025 Emmy contention.

In adapting The Last of Us Part II game for HBO with fellow co-creator Neil Druckmann, Craig Mazin knew he had to break one of the cardinal rules of television: Never kill your lead (especially not when they are a complex and utterly compelling character played by Pedro Pascal).

The Last of Us Season 2, which takes place about five years after the events of Season 1, puts a target on Joel’s (Pascal) back from the very beginning. The premiere opens by introducing audiences to Abby (Kaitlyn Dever), who is hellbent on seeking revenge against Joel for his murder spree at that Salt Lake City hospital in the Season 1 finale. But, even as viewers watch Abby and her crew plot, it’s difficult to think that they might be successful. Surely, there’s a way out.

"I Wasn't Sure They'd Let Us Do This": 'The Last of Us' Creators Confirm Ellie Won't Be the Main Character in Season 3
Image
At a recent Emmys FYC event celebrating the second season of The Last of Us, co-creators Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann confirmed what many fans had long speculated — Season 3 will officially shift its focus to Kaitlyn Dever’s Abby, effectively replacing Bella Ramsey’s Ellie as the central figure of the show. And if that sounds like a huge gamble, you’re not wrong, but that's what makes The Last of Us such an unexpected whirlwind of a story.

Speaking after a screening of Season 2, Episode 2, Druckmann laid out the bold path ahead, revealing: “We just ended Season 2, and Season 3 is going to be starring — spoiler alert — Kaitlyn.” Dever, who appeared virtually from Australia due to another filming commitment, played along with the announcement: “What?!”

“I was sure that they wouldn’t let us do this when we started adapting this,” Druckmann admitted. “But they’ve leaned into what makes,...

‘The Last of Us’ Creators Confirm Kaitlyn Dever-Led Season 3: “I Was Sure They Wouldn’t Let Us Do This”
Image
[This story contains major spoilers from season two of The Last of Us.]

While celebrating the second season of The Last of Us at an Emmys FYC event on Tuesday, co-creators Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann offered up a few details about what’s in store for season three.

The duo took part in two panels at the event, the first alongside cinematographer Ksenia Sereda, costume designer Ann Foley, editor Timothy Good, composer David Fleming, production designer Don Macaulay and visual effects supervisor Alex Wang. During that conversation, Mazin mused how they build these extensive, meticulous sets and “we tend to light things on fire, smash them, tear them down” — something they may change for season three.

“It’s more of a water season than a fire season,” Druckmann revealed, as Mazin confirmed, “It’s a wetter season than a hotter season.”

Later, following a screening of the season’s second episode, Mazin and Druckmann returned with stars Bella Ramsey,...

The Last of Us — Emmy Fallout From That Episode
Image
Following the fallout from The Last of Us episode 2, the repercussions of the show’s events will immediately impact its Emmy chances. The iconic post-apocalyptic series was certainly seen as a frontrunner in several categories, including Outstanding Lead Actor for Pedro Pascal. Now that he might be off the board, The Last of Us and Emmy voters may need to reevaluate what’s going to happen in the weeks ahead.

Spoilers ahead for The Last of Us — “Through the Valley” — Season 2 Episode 2 What does Pedro Pascal do now?

After largely being seen as a potential winner for Outstanding Lead Actor, the entire race shifts drastically. First of all, it is still possible for Pascal to contend in this category, but it would take a lot of maneuvering from The Last of Us creative team. Not only would Pascal likely need to appear in a few more episodes, but he will...

‘The Last Of Us’ Season 3 Will Expand on One Key Member of Abby's Group
Image
It is fair to say that The Last of Us Season 2 ended on a sour note for those rooting for the exploration party from Jackson. Ellie (Bella Ramsey) and Dina (Isabela Merced) ventured off to Seattle in hopes of finding and killing Abby (Kaitlyn Dever) following her role in the death of Joel (Pedro Pascal). The divisive Last of Us season 2 finale left Ellie in a precarious position, after Abby finally uncovered her location within Seattle. The ambush of the Wlf soldier has already claimed the life of Jesse (Young Mazino) and now, Ellie and Tommy (Gabriel Luna) will be at Abby's mercy when the series returns.

The arrival of Abby only came after Ellie had decimated a significant portion of the crew that came to take out Joel. Owen (Spencer Lord) and Mel (Ariela Barer), two of Abby's friends, were killed by Ellie, albeit one of those deaths was tragically accidental.

Rumor: The Last Of US Star Bella Ramsey Eyed For A "Big Marvel Role"
Image
Coming off their acclaimed turn as Ellie in the second season of HBO's The Last of Us, Bella Ramsey is reportedly being eyed for a Marvel Studios role.

Though this should only be viewed as a rumor for the time being, scooper Mttsh is claiming that Marvel is interested in signing Ramsey for a "big role" in an upcoming project. This obviously covers a lot of ground and even more potential characters, and it's entirely possible that Kevin Feige and co. simply have the highly in-demand actor on their radar.

Ramsey might well have taken a meeting (or two), but Marvel meets with a lot of talent, often without any specific role in mind.

That said, there are some major MCU movies on the horizon, and  - assuming this is accurate - we can't help but wonder if Ramsey might be in line for a role in the upcoming X-Men reboot.

His daring act of calling out the executives of WWE and his infamous “pipebomb” promo have made him an icon in the wrestling world.

Punk’s uniqueness is not only felt by his fans but also by celebrities who attempt to make their presence known. Recently, Gabriel Luna teased about his future in a Punk-like manner.
