Who needs a crown when you’re Yekaterina Petrovna Zamolodchikova? Sure, the cash prize and title of America’s Next Drag Superstar would have been great for Katya (real name: Brian McCook), but the drag queen ran away with the competition on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars season two. On Twitter, she was dubbed Time’s “Person of the Year.” She has since appeared on her own web series, I’m Not a Doctor and UNHhhh with fellow contestant Trixie Mattel. And Bjork even took notice!

Inspired by the likes of comedians Tracy Ullman and Maria Bamford, gymnast Elena Zamolodchikova, a past college professor and McCook’s own real-life anxiety, Katya is a persona unlike any other seen on eight seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Infected. Seriously speaking, there must be at least 5 zillion movies with the same title. I'm to the point at which I feel like I'm writing a new story about a film with that moniker at least once a month. Here's hoping this one separates itself from the pack a bit.

Synopsis
