The best Evan Peters movies and TV shows include a strong mix of great genre TV shows and both popular and critically acclaimed movie releases. He got his start as an actor in 2004 and quickly picked up a recurring television role on Invasion when he was only 17. Over his career, Peters has won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor. Peters also has earned a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor, and he is still in the prime of his career, with plenty of big roles ahead of him. The Middles Unaired Pilot Makes Me Appreciate The 9-Season Sitcom Even More
Image
An unaired pilot for the long-running sitcom The Middle was very different from the final show, and seeing how different the final product became makes me appreciate the series even more. The Middle follows the Heck family as they struggle and overcome the challenges of everyday life in Middle America and their own eccentricities. While The Middle wasn't the most original premise for a sitcom ever, it did gain a dedicated following, and it makes a strong case for being one of the best shows on Peacock.

A big reason The Middle found success is because of how it took its relatively common premise and put a spin on it. The Middle takes place in Indiana, which differentiates it from similar shows like Malcolm in the Middle, which was set in the Western United States. Though the Heck family lives in the suburbs, they're very close to rural America, and...

George Clooney says 'Friends' didn't bring joy to Matthew Perry
Image
Actor George Clooney says Mathew Perry wasn’t happy while being on ‘Friends’.

In an interview, George shared what Mathew was like off camera as he reflected on their friendship.

“I knew Matt when he was 16 years old. We used to play paddle tennis together… And he was a great, funny, funny, funny kid,” George revealed to Deadline.

George, who made an appearance as Dr. Michael Mitchell on the hit sitcom, shared that Matthew would tell him how much he wanted to be on a sitcom when hanging out with fellow actors Richard Kind and Grant Heslov.

“I just want to get on a sitcom, man. I just want to get on a regular sitcom and I would be the happiest man on earth,” Mathew said, according to George.

Despite that, the ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ star noted that Matthew didn’t feel content even when he landed the role of the...

College Student Accused of Making Terroristic Threat After Posting Old Tyler, The Creator Lyrics
A student at the University of Southern Alabama was arrested and accused of making a terroristic threat after writing old Tyler, the Creator lyrics on a large flip chart in the school library, The Associated Press reports.

Jack Aaron Christensen, 21, reportedly wrote the refrain from Tyler’s 2011 song “Radicals,” “Kill people, burn shit, fuck school.” Per Pitchfork, Christensen’s message also included the phrases, “hail satan 666, praise the devil,” which do not appear in “Radicals.”

The “Radicals” refrain became an early rallying cry for Odd Future fans, and though it was obviously tongue-in-cheek,...

Detention (2010 [David Carradine] - Review)
2010 - 81 mins. - Not Rated

D: James D.R. Hickox

C: David Carradine, Preston Jones, Alexa Jago, Billy Aaron Brown, Michael Mitchell, Rachel Sterling, Thomas Calabro, Zelda Williams, Lil J

Group of students stuck in detention are attacked by a malevolent spirit intent on revenge for his death some 30 odd years ago.

Detention starts out on the slow side with some especially hokey and unconvincing CGI horror inspired effects. However, Detention keeps getting better ....and better as it goes along. It captures the inherent spookiness of being in a darkened building during the middle of a thunderstorm. It has some suspenseful moments of the characters trying to find a way out of their predicament. And it has some appealing character vignettes due to a likable cast. The thing is, Detention never fully gels. It's just too jerky and uneven. Detention throws out many ideas, many notions. Some of it works, some of it doesn't.
