Co-wrote and adapted the play "The Fifth" by Terrance-Afer Anderson into a feature screenplay with writing partner David Allenworth.

Cast in his first off-Broadway show at the Vineyard Theatre opposite Isaiah Washington and Erica Gimble in 1992 in "A Soulful Scream of A Chosen Son," written by actor/writer Ned Eisenberg.
