Pierre Clostermann was born on 27 February 1921 in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil. He was a writer, known for Le grand cirque (1949), L'invité du dimanche (1968) and Les optimistes du lundi (1961). He died on 22 March 2006 in Montesquieu des Albères, France.
