“Wicked” went into the show leading all films with five nominations, followed by “A Complete Unknown” with four and “Anora” and “Emilia Perez” with two.

In the television categories, “Shōgun” led with five nominations, followed by “The Bear” with four and “The Diplomat” and “The Penguin” with three.

Over the 30-year history of the SAG Awards, individual winners in the film categories have gone on to win Academy Awards for acting 75% of the time. All four SAG winners have repeated at the Oscars 10 times, with eight of those times coming in the last 15 years.

The winning film in the SAG Awards’ ensemble-cast category has won the Oscar for Best Picture about half the time, including the last three years in a row and four times in the last five years.

After months of waiting, Shondaland has something to show for Bridgerton season 4. The first look and sneak peek into the upcoming edition of the Regency drama is finally here, and fans are ecstatic to witness Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Baek’s awaited love story and season.

Led by Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha, the 4th edition will introduce a whole new family and weave a lot of popular tropes like a Cinderella retelling, rich boy-poor girl, and more into the next Bridgerton love story. Here’s what we know about the first look at the next edition shared by the production team.

Luke Thompson & Yerin Ha Lead Bridgerton Season 4

On the romantic occasion of Valentine’s Day, the team of Bridgerton shared a glimpse of what’s to come next season, including a few special scenes, a look at the masquerade costumes, and some behind-the-scenes magic.

Small Things Like These, an Irish drama starring Cillian Murphy as a coal merchant and father haunted by secret abuses in a local convent sanctioned by the Catholic Church, beat out Kneecap, the hip-hop comedy featuring Michael Fassbender, to win the best film honor at the Irish Film & Television Awards 2025 during a ceremony held in Dublin on Friday. Saoirse Ronan left with two awards (the lead actress honor for her role in The Outrun and the supporting actress trophy for Blitz). Murphy won the best actor IFTA for his work in Small Things Like These. Demi Moore (The Substance) and Ralph Fiennes (Conclave) were honored in the international acting categories, and Colin Farrell (The Penguin) and Sharon Horgan (for writing Bad Sisters) earned TV statuettes.

Rich Peppiatt received the best director IFTA for Kneecap, which follows the West Belfast hip-hop trio of the same name on their mission to save their mother tongue.

Bridgerton‘s annual Season of Love celebration unleashed new details on the upcoming fourth season, including confirmation that fan favorite Simone Ashley will return as Kate Sharma, Anthony Bridgerton’s wife. The virtual fan celebration included a new teaser for the much-anticipated season that focuses on the relationship between Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha).

New photos were released from the masquerade ball, which will be featured in episode one. The photos also show new season four cast members Katie Leung as Lady Araminta Gun, Michelle Mao as Rosamund Li, and Isabella Wei as Posy Li.

Showrunner Jess Brownell confirmed season four will include more characters who “run the ton.” Fans will also be treated to much more of the Queen’s right-hand man, Brimsley, played by Hugh Sachs.

Valentine’s Day brought the ton a romantic gift of a first look at the next season. A Christmas present came from Netflix in the form of a table read teaser showing the cast — old and new — reuniting to get to work on the latest installment.

Yerin Ha will play the love interest for Luke Thompson’s Benedict, who will take center stage in season 4.

Though viewers are already clamoring for more Bridgerton, the Shondaland period romance series based on Julia Quinn’s novels will take a bit to make its fourth season. The third season of the television adaptation was split into two parts as Netflix does with some of its tentpole titles.

On Friday (February 14), members of the cast and fans got together for the Bridgerton: Season of Love Q&a and Immersive Dinner in London, England. During it, Season 4 leads Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha made their red carpet debut together.

“Bridgerton” Season 4 will focus on Benedict (Luke Thompson), the bohemian second son of the Benedict family. Despite his brothers’ happy marriages, Benedict has no plans to settle down anytime soon. That changes once he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.

The series is currently filming in London and the U.K. and does not have an announced release date. However, Netflix did drop a behind-the-scenes sneak peek.
