Exclusive: Ellen DeGeneres’ game show Ellen’s Game of Games is not coming back to NBC.

Deadline understands that the fourth season of the unscripted primetime series will be its last on the network.

The series launched with an eight-episode order in 2017 and its fourth season, which debuted in October 2020 and ran through May 2021, featured 20 episodes.

The family friendly format had previously been a strong performer for the network – tying for fourth among all primetime entertainment programs on broadcast with kids and ranking as primetime’s number one game show in 2019.

However, last year, the show lost a sizeable portion of its audience.

It comes as The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which airs on a number of NBC-owned affiliate stations, is ending later this spring with its 19th season.

DeGeneres served as host and executive producer of Ellen’s Game of Games, which includes supersized versions of the most popular games from the talk show.

ABC unveiled premiere dates for “Dancing With the Stars,” new reality series “Repeat After Me” and a 25th anniversary celebration of “America’s Funniest Home Videos” on Wednesday at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour. Also, the network announced that “Jimmy Kimmel Live” will return to South By Southwest for five original shows this March.

ABC is bringing back the prime-time prank show: The network is launching a new reality stunt series that's inspired by a popular segment on Ellen DeGeneres' daytime talk show. ABC has greenlit Repeat After Me starring The Goldbergs actress Wendi McLendon-Covey. In each episode, McLendon-Covey will instruct celebrities, via a remote ear piece, how to interact with everyday people in comedic hidden-camera situations. At the end of each half-hour episode, the best moment of the night will be selected in front of a live studio audience. The Young and the Restless tallied 23 nominations as honors were announced this morning for the 40th annual Daytime Emmy Awards. Restless’ impressive take helped CBS lead all networks with 50 overall nominations. PBS and ABC followed, with 44 and 38 nods, respectively.

General Hospital, which earned 19 nominations, joined Restless in the race for Outstanding Drama Series, and Sesame Street received 17 nods, including three for Kevin Clash, the voice of Elmo who faces allegations of sexual misconduct.

Good Morning America and Today will bring their ratings rivalry to the Emmys, where they’ll be joined by CBS Sunday Morning in the Outstanding Morning Program category.

Last night the Producers Guild of America (PGA) gave out awards for achievement in films and television released in 2011. The big winner was The Artist, which took home the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures. As the winner of this award takes the Best Picture Oscar three times out of four, any betting on the top Oscar honor is pretty much over at this point. Read on for the full list of winners. hollywoodnews.com: It’s beginning to look a bit like a landslide. The Producers Guild of America is the latest group to reward Michel Hazanavicius’ “The Artist” with its year-end Best Picture honors, paving the way for what could be Oscar domination next month.

The black-and-white and predominantly silent film has been picking up top prizes throughout the season, winning Best Picture awards at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards and the Golden Globes. On accepting the PGA distinction, producer Thomas Langmann said that when they “dreamed of making ‘The Artist,’ we knew we were dreaming of writing a love letter to American cinema.”

The Producers Guild of America has announced the nominees for their 2012 film and TV awards.

The Producers Guild Awards (PGA) nominees include the obvious choices such as The Artist, The Descendants, and Hugo, but also some films that have not often been mentioned in the build-up to the Oscars, including Moneyball, The Help, The Ides of March. Among the TV nominees, as well, are 30 Rock, Modern Family, Game of Thrones, and Mad Men.

The PGA has also chosen ten nominees this year for Best picture, but the Oscars will choose between five and ten. Here are the nominees:

The Producers Guild of America has announced their nominations for the PGA Awards and it's hard not to agree with every movie on the list. All of the ones I've seen are great films, and the ones I haven't seen I've heard are amazing. The only two on the list I haven't watched are The Artist and The Descendants, both of which I'm looking forward to seeing. I'd love Hugo or War Horse to take home the top prize though. We really can’t say that 2011 is behind us until award season is finished, and as we get closer to the coveted Academy Awards in February, various other guilds and organizations are recognizing the best that 2011 had to offer. Today the Producers Guild of America announced their nominees for Best Picture. The PGA is generally a good indicator as to which movies will be nominated for best Picture when the Oscars roll around.

There are some pretty safe picks. Movies like War Horse, The Artist, The Descendants, and Hugo all made the list, but its Bridesmaids that came completely out of no where.

Here's your best indicator yet as to what the crop of nominations for the Best Picture Oscar is likely to be. The Producers Guild of America (PGA) has announced its nominations for 2011 awards, which will be doled out on January 21. The ten films nominated for the PGA's top honor include expected pictures such as The Artist, The Descendants and War Horse.
