Margaret Mazzola started her career in Mexico City at the age of 17. She was choreographer, MC, principal performer and dancer on "Orfeon de Gogo", a popular television show on Televisa. She then began working as an actor in the USA with director Sam Peckinpah after being introduced by her late father Chalo Gonzalez. In 1968, Margaret married and had 2 children. She then began her long and successful career behind the camera in the Art Department. In 1986, Margaret married Art Director Leonard Mazzola, and alongside him raised 2 more children while working hard in the motion picture industry. She retired from working in the Art Department in 2016. In 2019, Margaret returned to acting. Her recent work in "What Did You Expect" directed by Melissa Daneri helped the film earn Best Comedy Short in the Independent Shorts Awards in April 2020. She is excited to be back on this side of the camera.
