Yang'an Yuan was born in 1904 in Dinghai, Zhejiang, China. Yang'an was a producer and director, known for You nan huai chun (1970), Yu guang lian (1960) and Nie hai hua (1953). Yang'an died in 1994 in Hong Kong.

Was a successful lawyer in Shanghai before going into the film
industry.
