Brad Fiorenza and his beard returned to The Challenge in the past several years, first competing on the All Stars spin-offs before appearing in several of MTV’s flagship seasons.
He arrived at Battle For a New Champion as one of the former winners that competed in one elimination as a mercenary. Viewers saw Kyland Young defeat him.
Brad competed on Season 40, aka Battle of the Eras, where he was part of the Era 1 team with other MTV OGs.
However, viewers saw the OGs quickly eliminated from the show, except for Rachel Robinson, who won along with Jordan Wiseley and Jenny West. Brad survived until Episode 6, when Cory Wharton eliminated him.
He didn’t return for All Stars Rivals, although some of his Season 40 castmates, including Leroy Garrett, Devin, Aneesa Ferreira, and Katie Cooley, participated.

With a whopping 40 The Challenge vets in one house in The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras, the personality clashes were as ferocious as they were inevitable all season long. So it makes sense that the post-finale cast reunion would bring its fair share of drama as well. As expected, then, the two-part special was full of confrontations and tears as most of the competitors came back to break down the lengthy season in Vietnam. Here are our picks for the most electric moments of The Challenge Season 40 reunion. When Nehemiah Clark had an unexpectedly painful night… Poor Nehemiah. He apparently rode to the reunion on the struggle bus because the man spent more time shivering in stomach bug-suffering mode than on the stage during the first part of the special. The first time he had to make a sudden exit, he left his microphone on and accidentally treated the...

With a fan debate constantly raging over who The Challenge’s all-time greatest competitor is, Johnny Bananas said fan “biases” make some choose other players over him.
Bananas just reached his 11th MTV final on Battle of the Eras and is looking to add to his record of seven seasons won.
However, he’s up against MTV finals newcomers Derek Chavez and Kyland Young and another player mentioned among the greatest: Jordan Wiseley.
In the earlier part of Season 40, viewers saw Chris “Ct” Tamburello from the Era 1 team bow out after getting upset during an elimination battle against Nehemiah Clark.
Ct’s five championships rank him with Bananas in fan discussions and debates about who the all-time greatest competitor is.
During a recent podcast chat with fellow Season 40 finalist Kyland, Bananas discussed why more fans do not consider him the show’s greatest.

A new year always brings resolutions, and for The Challenge star Laurel Stucky, one involves focusing on herself.
She appeared in recent seasons of the competition series, as she appeared in her first-ever installment of the All Stars spinoff, and won it, then returned on MTV’s Battle of the Eras.
Unfortunately, it was a disappointing Season 40 for the multi-time winner, as she went home during a daily challenge purge.
However, she seemed to joke about how she wouldn’t exhaust herself under the current conditions.
In addition, she may not have been in ideal shape to compete with the other stars in the 40-member cast.
So what’s next for The Challenge star? Laurel recently told fans she’s “making a commitment” to herself in 2025.

Nehemiah Clark defended a former member cast member that The Challenge fired from the show after “offensive remarks.”
Over the years of MTV’s competition series, viewers have seen production companies and networks cut ties with several returning cast members due to incidents on or off the show.
Among them was Dee Nguyen, who debuted on The Challenge: War of the Worlds, following her Geordie Shore appearance.
Dee rose to fame as a cast member when she returned for War of the Worlds 2 and was among the final winners for Team UK with Rogan O’Connor, Jordan Wiseley, and Chris “Ct” Tamburello.
She returned to appear in Total Madness and made headlines with controversial social media remarks about the Black Lives Matter movement, ultimately leading to her firing.
While they were never castmates, Nehemiah recently opened up about meeting Dee and shared his thoughts on what happened with her, calling it “extremely unfair.

The former Real World star hasn’t appeared on The Challenge since the All Stars 3 spinoff, and she’s wondering why she keeps getting mentioned on a particular podcast.
A recent episode of Zach Nichols Podcast featured Nehemiah Clark, fresh off his appearance on MTV’s Battle of the Eras.
During the episode, Nehemiah said he focused on each of his appearances on the competition show as if it were his last.
Therefore, he would do whatever was necessary to stay relevant as part of the show’s cast.
That seemingly included talking to people he usually wouldn’t and flirting with Jemmye while on the show.

Zach Nichols criticized his former castmate, Laurel Stucky, for her abrupt and surprising exit from The Challenge: Battle of the Eras.
For more than half of the season, viewers saw Laurel seem to excel at the game due to being part of Era 2 alongside strategic ally Johnny Bananas.
However, things changed when the game became individual. While Laurel was still considered one of Bananas’ allies with the Bananas Angels, she could not perform adequately during a mini-final challenge.
That occurred in Episode 12 when host Tj Lavin informed the cast that the man and woman who finished in last place among the competitors would automatically go home.
Viewers saw Laurel struggle once she got the memory game puzzle involved in the daily challenge. She described it as “torture” due to the conditions and said she was ready to go home.

Johnny Bananas formed a strong alliance on The Challenge: Battle of the Eras, but he got a surprise in a recent episode he probably didn’t know about while filming.
Season 40 brought all sorts of heavy hitters, former champions, and star cast members for the iconic season, with Bananas the winningest player in the MTV show’s history.
However, some of his allies from the Bananas Angels were also former champs with impressive skills on the competition show.
They included Aviv Melmed, Rachel Robinson, Jenny West, and Laurel Stucky, each of whom won at least one season of The Challenge.
Laurel’s Season 40 featured several dramatic incidents and altercations, the most notable of which was a confrontation with Cara Maria Sorbello.
Due to their alliance throughout the episodes, she didn’t seem to have any issues with Bananas. However, Laurel’s surprising exit in Episode 12 also brought a surprising decision involving Bananas.

The Challenge: Battle of the Eras featured several renewed rivalries, but none was more prominent than Laurel Stucky and Cara Maria Sorbello’s feud.
The castmates had a heated argument during the first half of the season, much of which didn’t make it into the final episode footage and featured remarks that may have crossed the line.
Fast forward to the second half of Season 40, and viewers saw one of those much-loved twists unveiled by host Tj Lavin.
During the daily challenge, Tj revealed it was a purge and that the man and woman who finished in last place would automatically go home.
That didn’t bode well for two former Challenge champs, Laurel Stucky and Nehemiah Clark, who did poorly in the mini-final and finished last amongst the competitors.
Following Laurel’s aired exit, Cara commented about predicting her exit, and Laurel posted several messages to blast her castmate.

Cara Maria Sorbello said one of her main goals while living in The Challenge house for Battle of the Eras was to avoid Laurel Stucky.
The rival castmates joined the Season 40 cast as part of the Era 2 team, which also featured fellow show winners Johnny Bananas, Emily Schromm, Aviv Melmed, and Nehemiah Clark.
Viewers saw things get heated during the first half of the season, as Laurel and Cara got into an intense altercation with castmates nearby to prevent things from escalating.
According to Cara and castmates, other parts of the altercation, including Laurel crossing a line with her remarks, weren’t presented in the episode’s final footage.
The game eventually changed from teams to individuals, and viewers have seen Cara and Laurel not interacting.
Cara shared recent comments on the Zach Nichols Podcast about how she tried to stay away from Laurel but detailed her “strange” and “uncomfortable” behavior.

Although Zach Nichols considers Laurel Stucky among his good friends, he said he had an issue with her behavior during The Challenge: Battle of the Eras.
Zach, who formerly appeared in multiple seasons of MTV’s competition series, was last on War of the Worlds 2 as a competitor, featuring Laurel.

After 26 years of making its players endure some of the most physically demanding competitions in reality television history, “The Challenge” is officially over the hill.
In honor of its milestone 40th season, MTV is bringing back a record-breaking 40 contestants to face off in “The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras.”
Starting this Wednesday, the competitors will be evenly split into four eras depending on when they were introduced to the franchise — Era 1, Seasons 1-10; Era 2, Seasons 11-20; Era 3, Seasons 21-30; and Era 4, Seasons 31-39 — competing for their share of the $1 million prize.
As always, the fan-favorite veterans include representatives from “The Real World” and “Road Rules,” as well as “Fresh Meat,” “Survivor,” “Big Brother,” “Love Island,” “Exatlón,” “Survival of the Fittest” and “Are You The One?” Plus, longtime host T.J. Lavin once again returns to simultaneously encourage and berate the hopefuls, this time from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

The Challenge will feature multi-time champions, fierce finalists, and seasoned veterans on its epic 40-person cast for Battle of the Eras.
Johnny Bananas is among the show’s biggest stars, so it’s only fitting he’ll be one of those 40 stars competing for a share of the $1 million prize.
He’ll face other top-notch competitors and longtime castmates, including Darrell Taylor, Derrick Kosinski, Mark Long, Ct Tamburello, and Jordan Wiseley.
The cast includes other notable MTV stars such as Amanda Garcia, Aneesa Ferriera, Cara Maria Sorbello, and Leroy Garrett.
However, more than 40 people appeared on The Challenge over its 39 seasons, and fans have already mentioned significant snubs.
Bananas recently revealed one castmate he wished was part of the cast because he felt their presence was missing.

While speaking to US Weekly, Bananas said he missed one specific castmate most during The Challenge: Battle of the Eras filming.

While Brad Fiorenza is among the toughest competitors to appear in The Challenge, he admitted he wasn’t mentally checked in for All Stars 4.
The former MTV champion appeared in the spinoff for his third straight season, joining newcomers like Leroy Garrett, Adam Larson, and Brandon Nelson.
In his previous appearance, Brad was among the spinoff’s finalists with Mark Long, Nehemiah Clark, and men’s winner Wes Bergmann.
He also performed well during All Stars 2, with he and teammate Jodi Weatherton nearly reaching the final.
However, All Stars 4 wasn’t one of Brad’s better performances. He performed poorly during many daily challenges and surprisingly got eliminated by Adam relatively early in the season.
While on the Zach Nichols Podcast, he spoke about the “nightmare” experience and what else affected his performance during the competition show.

Wes Bergmann is among The Challenge’s greats and is considered an MTV Og due to his start on the network.
The two-time winner of MTV’s The Challenge and All Stars 3 spinoff winner debuted on 2005’s The Real World: Austin. His castmates included fellow future Challengers Nehemiah Clark and Melinda Stolp.
After multiple seasons of The Challenge, Wes announced his retirement from the franchise during CBS’ USA 2 spinoff. He was not among the cast members revealed for MTV’s Season 40.
Still, he’ll likely be rooting for his Og castmates on The Challenge: Battle of the Eras, including Johnny Bananas, Nehemiah Clark, Ct Tamburello, Jonna Mannion, and KellyAnne Judd.
They all share the commonality of starting on the now-defunct reality TV show, The Real World.
According to Wes, it’s time for someone to bring back the iconic reality TV show, although fans had mixed reactions.

Many of The Challenge fans consider Johnny Bananas the greatest of all time due to winning seven seasons of the competition series.
However, his championships haven’t always come without some controversies.
He was part of an infamous moment during his Rivals III win alongside Sarah Rice when he received an option to split the first-place prize money or keep it all to himself.
The rest is history, and villainous words and actions by Bananas on the show qualified him for newer reality shows like E!’s House of Villains and Peacock’s The Traitors 2.
While not all his castmates are his biggest fans or supporters, he has plenty of allies when he plays The Challenge.
His castmate, Ace Amerson, recently appeared on the Death, Taxes, and Bananas podcast and discussed Bananas’ portrayal as a villain.

Several promotional teaser clips revealed the first two groups, Era 1 and Era 2, which included show winners Chris “Ct” Tamburello, Johnny Bananas, Laurel Stucky, and Cara Maria Sorbello.
In those clips, MTV briefly showed each iconic cast member and listed their accomplishments or stats for the show, such as their number of seasons, finals appearances, or championships won.

Derrick Kosinski knows a few things about winning multiple eliminations and competing in finals on MTV’s The Challenge.
The Og initially appeared on Road Rules and later won three seasons of MTV’s competition series. He returned to compete in the first three seasons of the All Stars spinoff.
Derrick reached the final in that first season but was eliminated during the event’s first leg due to struggles steering a kayak or canoe.
While he’s not part of the All Stars 4 cast, he and Challenge Mania podcast host Scott Yager have been reviewing the season.
They recently highlighted the show’s eight finalists, which Episode 11 revealed, with Derrick praising a former All Stars castmate.
He shared that he felt that individual could become a more worthy All Stars winner than Yes Duffy in Season 1.

The Challenge Season 40 may feature plenty of fan favorites back in the cast after a season of relative newcomers to the show.
Battle For a New Champion is currently airing on MTV. Its theme is to determine the first-time winner of The Challenge.
Due to that, the format featured a cast of only a few finalists and mostly individuals who have appeared in two seasons or fewer.
There were also 10 Challenge champions who participated in single-episode elimination events but left after their brief appearances.
Meanwhile, rumors have circulated for weeks about who will join the cast for MTV’s next installment of their popular competition show.
Recently, two big names were revealed as potential cast members, including a former champion and finalist from the show.
Two more Og cast members potentially on Season 40
As of this writing, an online spoilers forum has added two more individuals to the list of The Challenge Season 40 cast members.

The Challenge Season 40 could feature a lot of MTV star power, including several of the show’s champions.
As Battle For a New Champion is airing, some viewers have criticized the show’s main cast for a lack of veteran competitors.
The show still features some of The Challenge’s all-time greats, including Chris “Ct” Tamburello, Cara Maria Sorbello, Darrell Taylor, and Laurel Stucky.
However, those cast members appeared in one episode each, just at the end of the episode, for an elimination battle.
Previous rumors have dropped some clues about the potential cast for the next installment of the competition series, and several of those stars could return.
This report could contain spoilers for Season 40, including the names of cast members who might participate.

Teck Holmes during The Challenge: All Stars 2 season. Pic credit: Paramount+
With The Challenge: All Stars spinoff show, Og cast members came back to the competition years after their original MTV shows. Some of them even decided to return for the second season of the spinoff.
Among them was the entertaining Teck Holmes, who originally appeared on The Real World: Hawaii and competed in The Challenge 2000 season.
He was eliminated early in The Challenge: All Stars Season 1. Teck returned for Season 2 and reached the final thanks to being part of a powerful alliance. However, he and his teammate had an early exit due to finishing in last place during a leg of the final.
Surprisingly, Teck didn’t return for Season 3, even though the rest of his alliance members did. At least one of them reached the final and had a chance at winning their share of the prize money.

Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not watched the Season 3 finale of “The Challenge: All Stars,” streaming now on Paramount+.
Another season of Paramount Plus’ “The Challenge: All Stars” is in the books — and two people are 250,000 richer.
The season finale, which dropped on Wednesday morning, picked up where the penultimate episode left off — with Mark Long, Brad Fiorenza, Nehemiah Clark, Wes Bergmann, Nia Moore, KellyAnne Judd, Jonna Mannion and Kailah Casillas kayaking across the ocean to a checkpoint.
Once arriving there, they each had to play one round of “King of the Hill,” the first game T.J. Lavin had ever hosted, back on “The Gauntlet 2” in 2005; this time, each player had to push their opponent off a platform in the middle of the ocean.
After the matches ended, they had to switch partners again, and each pair was given 100 pounds of sandbags to take up a mountain.
