One Tree Hill star Hilarie Burton details how Chad Michael Murray defended her from the series creator's harassment. Burton starred as Peyton Sawyer in the popular teen drama. The show lasted for nine seasons, airing 187 episodes between 2003 and 2012, as it moved from The WB and continued as a part of The CW. But in the years since, the show has more often garnered headlines because of the allegations of sexual harassment and assault against One Tree Hill creator and executive producer Mark Schwahn.

During an episode of the Drama Queens podcast, which Burton hosts with One Tree Hill co-stars Sophia Bush and Bethany Joy Lenz, Burton said that Schwahn had assaulted her repeatedly during a trip to Texas to begin work on a season 4 episode. FBoy Island is getting another shot at love: Following its cancellation by HBO Max, the dating show has landed at The CW for a third season, according to our sister site Deadline. What’s more, The CW is also poised to pick up a spinoff titled FGirl Island, a gender-swapped version of the original.

FBoy Island, a tongue-in-cheek reality series created by The Bachelor producer Elan Gale, sees three women choose from a field of potential mates in a tropical locale, with the men secretly divided between “Fboys” who are superficial and commitment-phobic and “nice guys” who are ready for an adult relationship.

Hilarie Burton said her One Tree Hill co-star Chad Michael Murray was one of the few who stood up for her against the show’s creator Mark Schwahn.

Burton and Murray played love interests Peyton Sawyer (Burton) and Lucas Scott (Murray) on the long-running US teen drama.

In 2017, Burton was among the 18 women One Tree Hill cast and crew members who claimed they had been sexually harassed by Schwahn.

The showrunner has never commented on the allegations and was fired from One Tree Hill that same year.

During the most recent episode of the Drama Queens podcast hosted by Burton’s One Tree Hill co-stars Bethany Joy Lenz and Sophia Bush, the actor was asked about her decision not to report Schwahn at the time.

Hilarie Burton is detailing her traumatizing experience on “One Tree Hill.” During the latest episode of the “Drama Queens” podcast, Burton, Bethany Joy Lenz and Sophia Bush recap “It Gets Worse at Night,” the Season 4 episode in which the Tree Hill gang goes to Honey Grove to rescue Mouth (Lee Norris) from jail.

Burton, who was one of 18 women of the show who accused creator Mark Schwahn of sexual harrassment, detailed the trauma she endured while filming this episode of the show. She and Schwahn, who she never refers to by name, only by the “boss,” had to travel to Honey Grove, Texas, before filming started to surprise the local high school with news that they’d won a contest to have the CW drama film there.

Kennyville begins strangely enough, with the voice of a drugged out female wanting to give her all to a frightened and gagged male. Her voice is almost lamenting, and her motives uncertain until she reveals what is in the syringe she carries. Everything that she believes is beautiful is contained within it. The mystery of how important this sequence ties in to the rest of the film is interesting. Viewers have to stay sharp in knowing who is who by their voice.

Otherwise, the rest of the film focuses in on the case that Patrick (Dany Gehshan) and Kelly (Vanessa Broze), two private investigators, have decided to undertake. Kim (Kelsey Oluk) has gone missing in a hick town known as Kennyville,...

It's hard to imagine a scenario more frightening than being abducted, but how about one where you watch someone you care about being abducted right in front of you? Or, even worse, when you are already investigating a kidnapping and know just how dangerous the situation is?

This is the predicament that the upcoming release Kinneyville hinges upon. When private investigators Charlie and Kelly travel to the small town of Kinneyville, Ontario, they never assume that they themselves will soon be the next victims. With Charlie attacked and helpless as Kelly is abducted and taken to realize the same fate as Kim, they woman they were investigating, the story soon takes a wicked turn.

Delving into such issues as paranoia, bi-polar disorder, brainwashing and abuse, Kenneyville looks to put a different spin on a familiar idea. Director (and writer/producer/editor) Brooks Hunter worked his own experiences into the frantic feel of Kinneyville.
