The initial lineup for the “Together for Palestine” benefit concert helmed by Brian Eno has been announced, with Damon Albarn, Jamie xx, and Rina Sawayama among the artists confirmed. It takes place at London’s Wembley Arena on September 17th.

In addition to Palestinian musicians Adnan Joubran, Faraj Suleiman, and Nai Barghouti, they will be joined by James Blake, PinkPantheress, King Krule, and Hot Chip. This initial wave of performers is rounded out by Bastille, Cat Burns, Greentea Peng, Mabel, Obongjayar, Paloma Faith, Rachel Chinouriri, Riz Ahmed, and Sampha. The audio series follows in the footsteps of previous successful Audible dramas, such as 1984 and The Sandman, boasting a stellar cast with names such as Hugh Laurie as Albus Dumbledore, Matthew Macfadyen as Lord Voldemort, and Riz Ahmed as Professor Snape.

Another major casting sees Michelle Gomez take on the role of Hogwarts Professor Minerva McGonagall. Naturally, people have taken issue with yet another Harry Potter adaptation, and many have also thrown shade at the cast for taking part in an adaptation of J.K. Rowling's work.

Rowling. Titled Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions, the project brought to life by Pottermore Publishing and Audible has rounded out a high-profile cast to bring the classic story to life in audio format. The new Audible editions start rolling out this November.

The new version differs from traditional audiobook readings because it features a full cast of 200+ voice actors, whereas the common practice is to have one person reading the full content. Audible's new venture joins an expanding Harry Potter universe, as HBO's television adaptation has officially started filming in the U.K. Interestingly, there will be a slight crossover casting as Arabella Stanton, who will voice Hermione Granger in the first three audiobooks, is also playing the character in the HBO series.

Italy’s Prada Foundation has announced it is mounting a film installation by Oscar-winning Mexican director Alejandro G. Iñárritu to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his first feature “Amores Perros.” The Mexico City-set triptych starred Gael García Bernal in his breakout role and won the Critics’ Week Award at Cannes Film Festival.

Titled “Sueño Perro: A Film Installation by Alejandro G. Lily James’ upcoming slate of films are throwbacks in uniquely different ways.

Beginning with Saverio Costanzo’s 1950s-set Italian drama Finally Dawn, James plays Josephine Esperanto, an Elizabeth Taylor-type movie star who ropes a rejected background artist (Rebecca Antonaci’s Mimosa) into a pivotal scene of her sword-and-sandals epic. From there, Josephine, her co-star Sean Lockwood (Joe Keery) and her jack-of-all trades, Rufo Priori (Willem Dafoe), pressure Mimosa into exploring Rome’s nightlife with them.

While en route to one of their two destinations, Sean Lockwood’s acting insecurities get the better of him, and Josephine makes a half-hearted attempt to compliment their scene work that day. According to James, it’s a highly relatable scene for most actors.

The BBC documentary Gaza: How to Survive a Warzone breached one of the broadcaster’s editorial guidelines by failing to disclose a child’s connection to Hamas, a report published on Monday has found.

The corporation came under fire in February when one of the 13-year-old subjects in the film, a young boy called Abdullah Al-Yazouri, was found to be the son of Hamas’ deputy minister of agriculture.

The BBC pulled the doc from its streaming service, BBC iPlayer, and apologized for the “unacceptable flaws” in airing the program. It said at the time that production company Hoyo Films “assured [the BBC] that no payments were made to members of Hamas or its affiliates, either directly, in kind, or as a gift”.

Peter Johnston, the BBC’s director of editorial complaints and reviews, has examined what led to How to Survive a Warzone being narrated by the child of a Hamas minister, without this crucial fact being declared to audiences. The film, which was an unsparing portrayal of the chaos in Gaza from the perspective of three young people, was later removed from iPlayer.

Wheeler’s next project, which he is co-writing with his brother, Tom Wheeler, has been picked up, in a highly competitive sale, by Paramount Pictures for Colin Trevorrow to direct and Ryan Reynolds’ Maximum Effort to produce. Wheeler and his brother will also executive produce the currently untitled conspiracy thriller.

Wheeler’s other credits include Disney’s “Queen of Katwe,” which starred Lupita Nyong’o and David Oleyowo; “Ghost in the Shell” starring Scarlett Johansson; Warner Animation’s “The Lego Ninjago Movie;” “The Reluctant Fundamentalist” starring Riz Ahmed, Liev Schreiber, and Kate Hudson; and “The Hoax” starring Richard Gere. Universal Pictures has officially announced that The Phoenician Scheme is now available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Prime Video or Fandango at Home. To celebrate the news, Collider has even partnered with the studio to bring you an exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette showing director Wes Anderson sing the praises of leading star Benicio del Toro, and also explain how he settled on casting a relative newcomer among a roster of stars like Mia Threapleton.
