- Joseph Evans Figallo, better known simply as Jef. Was born in Laplace Louisiana to Sherron and Raymond J. Figallo, in 1981. His parents have been married for over 40 years. They still reside in Slidell, La. A place now best known for hurricane Katrina. The family moved to Slidell from LaPlace, in 1986. In 1987 Jef started playing soccer, which he would continue to do until he was 18 when his travel team won the Louisiana State Championship. His passion for soccer led him to coach immediately after. Which he did for 10 years until the kids he was coaching were no longer kids.
Jef has always loved movies and television. As well as being an avid reader. He has always had a talent for getting people to laugh. He started pursuing acting at a late age, when he realized that the itch that he'd been looking to scratch was the acting bug itself. He is usually bored easily, and acting and the film industry and making films, challenges him every day. He loves every minute of it too. He has branched out into writing as well as Directing. His first short script was made into an award winning film.

- Jef was born Joseph Evans Figallo. His parents did not want two "Joeys'' in the house (his dad goes by Joey) So they decided to name give him his forever nickname, which is also his initials. J.E.F. Jefs father had an aunt that was very up set by this, and demanded he have his fathers name. So Jefs mom told her simply "If he was born a little girl, I was going to name her Evelyn Figallo, and call her ELF". The aunt never said another word.
