First ‘FBI’ Season 8 Set Image Teases Everyone’s Favorite Partners Back on Another Case
Image
The only continuing show in the FBI franchise set to return this fall is now in production. Following the cancellation of FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International, the FBI franchise might be smaller, but its impact is still big. To celebrate the beginning of production on FBI Season 8, Dick Wolf's production company, Wolf Entertainment, shared a post on Instagram with stars from some Wolf-produced shows. Among them is a shot of FBI stars Zeeko Zaki and Missy Peregrym, who are caught in a light moment with generous laughs on their faces. It's a stark contrast to their characters in the police procedural, who rarely laugh, given the nature of the job.

FBI returns for Season 8 amid concerns that the organization has been infiltrated. Season 7 featured a showdown between the team and a shadowy organization, Forefront. Despite the team claiming victory, they remained uncertain whether Forefront had more members who had not been caught.

Juliana Aidén Martinez joins FBI season 8 as a series regular
Image
Just when FBI fans thought we were in the clear when it came to cast shakeups, we’re seeing yet another new face who will be added to the cast. While we still don’t know whether Alana de la Garza’s character, Isobel, will survive her collapse from the season 7 finale, someone new is joining as another character.

TVLine reports that Emily Alabi, who joined season 7 as Stuart Scola’s (John Boyd) new partner, will be returning to the series, but only for an exit arc. At first, it did appear that she would be a good fit for the team, but now it seems the show is gearing up to try out yet another partner to join the team.

Actress Juliana Aidén Martinez, who had appeared on Law and Order: Svu, will now move on to FBI as a series regular for season 7. This will be the show...

Departing Law & Order: Svu Star Lands Major Role in Different Dick Wolf Show
Image
Juliana Aidén Martinez is jumping from one Dick Wolf show to another. Two months after departing Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, the actor has been tapped for a series regular role on FBI.

According to Deadline, Martinez has closed a deal to join FBI as a series regular for its upcoming eighth season, which is scheduled to premiere on CBS on Monday, Oct. 13. No details about Martinez’s character have been disclosed yet, although FBI's Stuart Scola (John Boyd) is still looking for a permanent partner after the departure of both Tiffany Wallace (Katherine Renee Kane) and Syd Ortiz (Lisette Olivera) last season. It's possible that Martinez could end up playing Scola's new partner, especially since Emily Alabi is set to wrap up her arc as his temporary partner, Dani Rhodes, at the beginning of next season.

Martinez is best known for her breakout role as June Hawkins...

'FBI' Season 8 Adds Former 'Svu' Star Juliana Aidén Martinez as Series Regular
Image
CBS’ hit TV series FBI has added a former Law & Order: Svu star to the cast!

Juliana Aidén Martinez has joined as a series regular for the police drama’s eighth season.

News broke earlier this year that after only 1 season, Juliana would be exiting the L&o world, where she portrayed Detective Kate Silva.

Head inside for more on the casting news…

It’s unclear who she’ll portray on FBI, Deadline reports, but she will be a series regular on the show.

Season 8 will also see the return of Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto, John Boyd, and Alana de la Garza.

Unfortunately, if you didn’t see the news, some fans are not happy with CBS after they canceled 7 TV shows in 2025 (including 2 FBI shows).

FBI will be back on CBS on Monday (October 13).

‘Svu’ Alumna Juliana Aidén Martinez Joins ‘FBI’ As Series Regular
Image
Exclusive: Another Dick Wolf universe actor is migrating from one show to another. Two months after Deadline broke the news that Law & Order: Svu series regular Juliana Aidén Martinez would not be returning for the venerable NBC drama’s 27th season, she has closed a deal to join CBS’ FBI as a series regular for its upcoming eighth season. Both shows hail from Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television.

No details about Martinez’s character are being provided. With FBI‘s Stuart Scola (John Boyd) still looking for a permanent partner after the departure last fall of Tiffany Wallace (Katherine Renee Kane), Martinez could play a new agent paired with him.

Lisette Olivera was initially cast as a series regular last season to succeed Kane but left after a handful of episodes as Scola’s new partner Syd Ortiz. Emily Alabi was subsequently added as a recurring, playing Dani Rhodes,...

Lucifer Star Tom Ellis Opens Up About His Upcoming FBI Spinoff Series
Image
Lucifer star Tom Ellis is working on an FBIspinoff series. The show, titled CIA, will be released on CBS.

Speaking to TV Line, Ellis discussed the hotly-anticipated series, noting that it will follow roughly "the same format set up on FBI," and will "explore the notion of why these agencies don't normally work together." Ellis went on to describe the unlikely pairing of FBI and CIA agents as "productive but also very difficult, because they have very different philosophies on how to achieve goals."

CIA will star Ellis as Agent Hart Hoxton, who is "stuck in the 'boring' end of the job on home soil in New York." According to the actor, "he is someone who has to use guile and deceit and lies to get what he wants. There's large [doses] of moral ambiguity that comes with him." Hoxton will team up with a seasoned FBI agent who is the...

Law & Order Should Bring These 3 Characters Back as Guest Stars
Image
It’s always a pleasant surprise when one of our favorites from the past returns on Law & Order.

We’ve seen so many great actors and characters come and go from the main show and its spinoffs, and every so often, we get to see one back in action for at least one episode.

Many times it’s just for a friendly visit, a casual consultation, or to provide some necessary information, and other times they’re more involved in the case.

(NBC/Screenshot)

There are many former characters that fans want to see return for a season, but I’d like to see these three specifically from the Law & Order franchise pop up again in a future episode.

Let’s Revisit Defense Attorney Paul Robinette

A serious blast from the past would be Paul Robinette (Richard Brooks) returning to the show after his hiatus.

I enjoyed Ada...

FBI Star Shares How Forefront's Crisis Impacts The Jubal & Isobel's Team In Season 8
Image
Warning: Spoilers for FBI season 7, episode 22, "A New Day."

An old menace resurfaces at the end of FBI season 7, and their newest threat to the 26 Fed building may affect Jubal Valentine and Isobel Castille’s team in ways that continue to be felt in the following season. The FBI season 7 finale begins with Jubal meeting an informant at a secret off-base site, but the office is raided before Jubal can get all of the information he needs. As it turns out, the feds are part of a targeted anti-America attack, the effects of which will almost certainly be felt by FBI’s cast of characters in future episodes.

It's impossible to say at this point what FBI season 8 will truly look like, but Jubal actor Jeremy Sisto notes that the bureau can’t continue as is after the finale’s biggest reveal. After it’s learned that the FBI is...

FBI season 7 finale cliffhanger leaves a character in jeopardy
Image
FBI’s season 7 finale left us on a stunning cliffhanger following an attack on an FBI field office that saw Jubal injured and the team not knowing who to trust.

Jubal was at the Threat Intake Office speaking with a man named Kevin, who was blowing the whistle on FBI agents being recruited into an organization launching an attack. At first, they didn’t believe this was happening until two people posing as FBI agents began shooting up the office.

Jubal barely managed to escape, only to get caught by one of the agents in a convenience store. When she lifted her arms, he saw a telltale tattoo that signaled an organization they had previously fought against. They learned the people involved are actual agents who were recruited into Forefront, who had originally infiltrated the Marshals.

Maggie and Oa looked through the informant’s apartment, only to learn from a...

"It Would Be a Huge Blow to the Office": 'FBI' Star Reacts to That Massive Season 7 Finale Cliffhanger
Image
The FBISeason 7 finale kept the New York Field Office busy as they worked to curtail a complicated internal threat. It was touch and go for a moment, but they emerged victorious and neutralized it. However, it did not end without casualties, as Isobel (Alana De La Garza) was caught in the crossfire. Even if she saw the mission through, Isobel had been injured during an explosion, and while briefing the team after the ordeal, she collapsed. It could be that she passed out, or the unthinkable happened.

"Literally, you have to tune in to see. It is a legit cliffhanger. It was very exciting and very fun to play, unlike anything I’ve ever played before for sure. So that was fun," De La Garza told TV Insider of the life-or-death ending that could rob the team of their best members. If Isobel were to die, it would have resounding effects on everyone,...

Forefront pops back up, now with members in the FBI (previously in the US Marshals). They initiate an attack on agents using mini explosives in government-issued phones, and Isobel is in the room with one when it goes off. To everyone outside the inner circle — Maggie (Missy Peregrym), Oa (Zeeko Zaki), Jubal (Jeremy Sisto), Scola (John Boyd), Dani (Emily Alabi), Kelly (Taylor Anthony Miller), Elise (Vedette Lim), and Ian (James Chen) — she’s dead, until she reveals herself to the corrupt deputy assistant director to make him think she’s on his side. FBI: Most Wanted fans are saddened by the news that the popular spinoff is coming to an end with its sixth season. It’s still surprising that CBS decided to cancel both it and the FBI: International spinoff.

Thankfully, the writers are being given a chance to craft a good finale that hopefully brings the story arcs of the characters to a proper close. A recent episode had Remy (Dylan McDermott) having a fun time with his girlfriend and buying a bar, hinting he’s setting himself up for retirement.

FBI: Most Wanted just figured out how to save this character before series cancelation
Image
FBI: Most Wanted has the unenviable task of closing out a show that has already been canceled. It's not ideal, of course, and character arcs have to be resolved in ways that wouldn't have been needed had the show been renewed for an additional season. But there is a silver lining, and it has to do with Sheryll Barnes (Roxy Sternberg).

Barnes has been part of the Most Wanted team since day one, but the latest episode, "Gut Job," has us wondering whether the agent has decided to move on to a new chapter of her life. She looked at an opening for Task Force Supervisor in Washington, DC, which had a submission deadline of April 11. The episode aired April 8, for context.

Sheryll Barnes is considering a transfer “Fouled Out” – After the Fugitive Task Force mobilizes to help apprehend an active shooter on a college campus in Queens, they find...

The 'FBI' Team Investigates the Blkpill Crimes in Season 7, Episode 18 Promo
Image
Blackpill and manosphere topics have been entering the mainstream with shows like Adolesence, but FBI has always been ahead of the curve. The internet has opened a new crime frontier where young people, young men especially, can be radicalised in their bedrooms. They are fed harmful ideologies about gender and women, leading to serious confusion and mental struggles. However, these effects are not always internal; some take them into the real world. "After two women are brutally murdered via napalm, Maggie (Missy Peregrym) and Oa (Zeeko Zaki) are led to a dating site where they discover a group of scorned users who are targeting women who reject them," reads the logline for FBI Season 7 Episode 8, "Blkpill," preveiwign the weeks case which tackles the real-world effects of these ideologies. CBS released a sneak peek of the episode airing on April 15, previewing the case particulars.

Like many other emotions, anger needs an outlet.
