Graduated from Port Moody Secondary in 1989.

[on performing the title role in 'Dan for Mayor'] I was blown away when I saw the results of the [Canadian] election and the similarities with our show. But this really illustrates how stupid I am. I'm pretending to be in politics. I should really be doing it myself.

When I first got the news that 'Corner Gas' was done, my first thought as a Canadian actor was 'Oh, crap, I'm out of work again.' And just the thought that someone wanted to give me another job right away really surprised me. And to land the lead to boot - wow!
