Martin Shaw will return to star in two new feature-length episodes of Inspector George Gently, it has been confirmed. Penned by Peter Flannery (Our Friends In The North) and Jimmy Gardner (This Life), the show will be filmed on location in Durham. Lee Ingleby also returns as Gently's sidekick Detective Sergeant John Bacchus.
