Despite rumors swirling around the internet, that guy dressed up as a viking at the U.S. Capitol riots was not the lead singer of Jamiroquai.

Following the chaos in Washington on Wednesday, Twitter users pointed out the resemblance between the Maga supporter’s horned viking headdress and the head adornments that British rocker Jay Kay is known for wearing onstage at Jamiroquai shows.

The comparisons became so incessant that Kay made a video on Thursday shooting down the rumors.

I knew about the film, mainly thanks to the 1992 sequel – released in the UK as The Unnamable Returns – which was heavily, and I do mean heavily, promoted upon it’s release. Hell, it seemed like every movie magazine I read (remember those days?) had ads for The Unnamable Returns and every VHS rental had a trailer for the movie. But at the time I could never track down the original film and I never caught the film on DVD… So this Blu-ray release, from Unearthed Films, is a first-time watch for me.

Horror fans in Syracuse will travel to "a place where the dead speak" this April at the 13th annual Salt City Horror Fest. Pet Sematary co-star Denise Crosby will be on hand at The Palace Theatre for a special screening of Mary Lambert's 1989 Stephen King adaptation, with C.H.U.D. II: Bud the Chud, Creepshow 2, and Terrorvision among the other 35mm screenings featured at the event.

Everyone has their own favourite "bad remake" story. Some like the 1993 Sandra Bullock/Kiefer Sutherland remake of The Vanishing, which deserved to be retitled The Gormlessly Tacked-On Shovel Fight.
