Coaching an actor backstage in New York
G. Charles is a native of Los Angeles and Orange County, a graduate of Huntington Beach High School and the University of Southern California. He started his casting career working as an intern for Liberman/Patton on 3rd Rock From the Sun under the mentoring of Cecily Adams. When his internship ended, G and Cecily took over casting duties on That '70s Show and four years later that is where G. Charles Wright became the series 3rd casting director. He worked on That '70s Show from season 2 in 1999 until it's season 8 series finale in 2006. Other notable original TV casting gigs include 9 seasons on The Middle for WBTV and ABC, 100 episodes of Anger Management from FX, 100 episodes of Sid the Science Kid for Henson and PBS and 2 seasons of cult favorite, Stan Against Evil on the IFC.

In addition to casting, G. Charles does some voice over work and an occasional acting job on camera. He is also a sought after audition coach who has been teaching audition technique to other actors since 2002.
