- Jiramani, is a Scandinavian-Asian filmmaker who began her career at 21 by producing one of the largest Star Wars fan films, a project that brought together 400 volunteers and featured Lars Mikkelsen. She later worked as a producer for established production companies while completing her studies at the prestigious film school Super8.
For her graduation project, she took on the rare challenge of producing a feature film (Ripple) requiring special approval. Starring Ulrich Thomsen (Festen), the film was noted for its high production value and was selected for Beyond Fest 2023, one of the leading genre festivals in the U.S. With Ripple, she became the youngest producer to bring a feature to the danish cinemas.
Now, Jiramani continues to work also as a writer, director, and creative, developing new projects and exploring fresh storytelling opportunities.- IMDb mini biography by: Andreas Nelander
