    July 3, 1979 · Tunisia

Biography

    • Hela ayed is a Tunisian film and theatre actress and director, mostly known for her latest role "wassila" in the Ramadanic Tunisian series "Nouba" (2019) and for playing "monjia" is the first Tunisian horror movie "dachra". Off screen she studied management and obtained the title of doctor by the end of 2007. Ayed is now a university professor of marketing with huge talent and passion for acting that started with El Teatro studio where she was trained under the direction of Tawfik Jebali. As an comedian, she took part in several plays, among others, "Manifestou Essourour" in 2008 under the direction of Taoufik Jebali, and "Caillasses", in 2013, under the direction of the French director Jean-Luc Garcia with whom she will collaborate again, in 2015, in the piece "Femmes ", an adaptation of the text "Huit femmes" Robert Thoma. She collaborated with several other directors, like Moez Gdiri, Naoufel Azara, Ghazi Zaghbeni and Soumeya Bouallegui. She had the opportunity to participate in the opening of the Hammamet International Festival 2014 and the closing of the Arab Theater Festival through Taoufik Jebeli's play "Klem Ellil zéro virgule". In 2017, Héla tries her directing skills by adapting the text of Ariel Dorfman " La jeune fille et la mort", a piece in which she also plays with Abdelhamid Bouchnak and Mohamed Zarrami. The play is scheduled at the International Hammamet Festival in July 2018. A great complicity is established between her and Abdelhamid Bouchnak, who will seek her to play in her short film "bonbon" and later for her feature film "Dachra" released in 2019 and has been a great success nationally and internationally. She plays the role of "Monjia", an intriguing character who needed, as she explains, a lot of depth in the game. Then comes the experience "Nouba" and her character "Wassila", a character she believes very strongly in because of its presence and which was admirably written by Abdelhamid who did not stop changing it. Hela ayed, a loving mother, a great director and a high-class actress.
