Ilan Eshkeri is an Emmy, BAFTA, and Ivor Novello nominated composer whose eclectic body of work is linked by his love of emotional narratives. He is renowned for his work across visual and interactive media as well as for his live stage creations in theatre, ballet, and concert performance. Eshkeri is dyslexic and synaesthetic, a neurodivergence where he associates colour with music, this unique perspective alongside his profound empathy for human stories, inspires unique work that has left its indelible mark on the world of music.

He first gained prominence with his movie score for Matthew Vaughn's Layer Cake (2004), a cult classic that established his reputation for blending orchestra with modern instruments. His career has spanned acclaimed projects across numerous genres and mediums including Stardust (2007), The Young Victoria (2009), Still Alice (2014), Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story (2024), MobLand (2025), & House of Guinness (2025), live performance Reliquary composed for the groundbreaking Burberry fashion show, a ballet Narcissus and Echo choreographed by dance legend Sergei Polunin, & Through My Window a twelve-part tone performed in the gardens of the Louvre in Paris. He has scored critically acclaimed video games including cultural phenomenon The Sims 4 and the modern classic action-adventure Ghost of Tsushima.

Eshkeri has collaborated extensively with actor and director Ralph Fiennes and naturalist Sir David Attenborough, as well as pop and rock legends such as Coldplay, KT Tunstall, Take That, Annie Lennox and David Gilmour. In 2024 he scored Audible's critically acclaimed audiobook adaptation of 1984, composed with Muse's Matt Bellamy.

On stage Eshkeri's hugely successful show, Space Station Earth, has sold out venues across Europe including its 2022 premiere at London's Royal Albert Hall. Hailed as genre-defying, the synth-pop, orchestral and visual experience takes audiences on a profoundly emotional musical journey into space seen through the eyes of an astronaut. Inspired by his friendship with astronaut Tim Peake and developed in partnership with the European Space Agency and NASA, the show will tour again in 2026.

Eshkeri's musical journey and legacy continues to evolve with a variety of projects. He spends most of his time creating in his studio at the bottom of his garden in London.
