In 2018, Romil Chaudhary was one of the top finalists in Bigg Boss12 which was aired on Colors TV. At that time, he was trending on Twitter as the 'mastermind' of the show. In 2019-2020, he starred as the dashing 'Karan Khanna' in the popular TV serial 'Kahaan Hum Kahaan' Tum aired on Star Plus. In the same year, he worked on another hit music video called 'We Thank You' - Corona Warriors. In 2021, Romil starred in the romantic music video 'Bechainiyan' which had all the girls swooning over him. In 2021, Romil worked as a central character 'Raghav Choubey' in 'Tere Bina Jeeya Jaye Na' which was aired on Zee TV from October 2021 to October 2022. In 2022, he played the lead role in a 'biopic' film titled 'Ajay Wardhan' where Romil had an author-backed character and the role of a lifetime. 2022 too saw him work in the film 'Kahani Rubberband Ki'. In 2023, Romil is cast as a prominent character in the serial 'Ikk Kudi Punjab Di' aired on Zee TV.
