There's Something Wrong With The Children In Roxanne Benjamin's New Horror Flick [Exclusive Interview]
Image
Roxanne Benjamin has quietly become a staple of horror over the better part of the last decade. The filmmaker made her imprint on many a genre fan with her segment in the much-beloved anthology "Southbound," before also contributing to "Xx." Benjamin then made her debut feature, the absolutely terrifying "Body at Brighton Rock," which was released in 2019. Now, after a several year stint directing on shows such as "Riverdale" and "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina," Benjamin is back with her latest feature, "There's Something Wrong With the Children."

The film was produced by Blumhouse Productions as part of a deal the company has to produce films that will, ultimately, make their way to MGM+ after first arriving on Digital/VOD. The latest addition to the creepy kid movie subgenre was penned by T.J. Cimfel & Dave White, and features a stellar cast led by Alisha Wainwright Zach Gilford ("Midnight Mass"), Amanda Crew...

There's Something Wrong With The Children Trailer: The Creepy Kid Genre Intensifies
Image
A cabin in the woods, a struggling marriage, and two giggling children who are ominously covered in blood? The upcoming Blumhouse and Epix collaboration has all the elements for disaster, so it's no wonder that it slots firmly into the horror/psychological thriller genres. It certainly doesn't help that the title alludes to one of horror's most reliable sources of dread, "There's Something Wrong with the Children."

Before supernatural horror even becomes a factor in the plot this film already has one of the most horrifying premises imaginable. When two couples head into the woods for a weekend getaway, one duo convinces the other to watch their children for the night while they take time to hash out some martial issues. Isn't the thought of unanticipated babysitting responsibilities terrifying?! Unfortunately, it only gets worse from here. Somehow, the babysitting couple loses sight of the children in the woods and when they're finally retrieved,...

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 7: Bravo Unveils Premiere Date, Cast, and Bonkers Trailer
Below Deck (2013)
It wouldn't be a Below Deck trailer without some genuine danger thrown in to make viewers think the boat is going to crash.

Bravo on Tuesday dropped the official trailer for Below Deck Mediterranean Season 7, and it's a lot to process.

The only returning cast members are Captain Sandy Yawn and Below Deck Mediterranean Season 7 favorite Mzi “Zee” Dempers (Deckhand).

Yes, that means the series will have another new Chief Stewardess.

Katie Flood did a decent job on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6, especially considering the situations she found herself in.

Natasha Webb is the latest to take on the iconic job, while Raygan Tyler is taking over the Bosun duties from Malia White.

The rest of the cast is rounded out by Chef Dave White, Stews Natalya Scudder and Kyle Viljoen, and Deckhands Storm Smith and Jason Gaskell.

As for what we can expect, Bravo dropped the following logline.

Captain...

Beth Riesgraf Has Become a Shut In
Being that 95% of the human race is comprised of idiots, I so understand the desire to never leave the house. Still, there are times when even our places of refuge are violated and become pretty damned scary. Read on for the first word on the new horror flick Shut In.

THR is reporting that Beth Riesgraf (pictured), who was one of the stars of TNT’s "Leverage," is starring in the psychological horror thriller Shut In, which began production this week in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Rory Culkin (Scream 4), Martin Starr (Veronica Mars), and Jack Kesy ("The Strain") are also starring in the indie flick, which is being directed by Adam Schindler (Delivery: The Beast Within).

Riesgraf is playing a woman who suffers from agoraphobia so crippling that when a trio of criminals break into her house, she cannot bring herself to flee. But what the intruders don’t realize is...
