Back in college, my Saturday nights were a little less boring after one generous internet installer hooked me up with “complimentary” cable. Mind you, I didn’t ask for this surprise add-on, but I also didn’t let it go to waste. Anyhow, I soon became very acquainted with those Original Movies found on Syfy (née the Sci-Fi Channel or simply Sci Fi).

It was as if the powers that be had come together and made an evening of entertainment that catered to my horror tastes — carnage, schlock, and most of all, monsters. And every so often, that block of niche, unapologetic programming offered an Original that wasn’t quite like the others. Yes, the most dangerous night on television occasionally delivered an enjoyable B-movie like Frankenfish. Even to this day I rewatch it with sincere fondness and pleasure, as opposed to the sense of irony required for other Syfy flicks.

The team is after another serial killer in the next FBI episode airing tonight, Tuesday, March 18. In FBISeason 7, Episode 15, "Acolyte," serial murders alert the FBI to the fact that there is a new killer on the loose. However, according to the logline below, there is something different about this killer since he seems to be copying someone familiar. In Episode 6, "Perfect," of Season 7, Maggie (Missy Peregrym) sent a killer, Ray Distefano (Matthew Rauch), to prison, and the new murders remind her of Ray. Confused as to how an incarcerated Ray can pull off these murders, Maggie visits him, seeking to get clarity on some questions. Ray was not just any killer because he was obsessed with Maggie and Ella. CBS released a sneak peek of the episode, previewing an interaction between them that leaves Maggie more confused.

FBI star Zeeko Zaki has addressed the likelihood the show will bring back his character Omar Adom "Oa" Zidan's sister Amira. Cynthia Hamidi originally played Amira in Season 1 of the CBS procedural.

Viewers learned early in FBI's run that, since the Zidan children lost their father at a young age, they developed a dysfunctional relationship. Oa admitted he and Amira had a strained relationship as adults because he'd acted more like a father than a brother to her while growing up.

The series followed Ingrid Yun (Arden Cho), a 1st generation Korean American and the first lawyer in her family, who experiences the trials and tribulations of excelling at the prestigious (but old school) law firm, Parsons Valentine.

Bradley Gibson (Power Book II: Ghost), Alexandra Turshen (Ray Donovan), Dominic Sherwood (Shadowhunters), and Rob Heaps (Good Girls) also starred.

The cast was rounded out by Nolan Gerard Funk (The Flight Attendant), Matthew Rauch (Banshee), and Roby Attal (The Haunting of Bly Manor).

Unfortunately, the series ended on a big cliffhanger, meaning it joins the ranks of Netflix's other one-and-done series that failed to get conclusions.

Amazon Prime Video hasn’t yet renewed The Terminal List for season 2 yet, but series star Chris Pratt seems pretty confident that they’ll be back.

While speaking on Danger Close, the Ironclad podcast series hosted by The Terminal List author Jack Carr, Chris Pratt was asked whether a second season was in the works. “To the rabid fans of The Terminal List out there, you have nothing to worry about,” Pratt said. “We love you and appreciate your support. Chris Pratt has good news for fans of The Terminal List who may be wondering about a second season: “You have nothing to worry about.”

On today’s installment of Danger Close — the Ironclad podcast hosted by The Terminal List author Jack Carr — Pratt was asked about the potential of another season. Pratt plays Lieutenant Commander James Reece in the Amazon Prime drama about an entire platoon of Navy SEALs who is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission.

The first season of The Terminal List launched July 1 and consisted of eight episodes. Amazon Prime has yet to announce a renewal, but Pratt and Carr definitely suggest that something more is coming.

“To the rabid fans of The Terminal List out there, you have nothing to worry about,” he says. “We love you and appreciate your support. It’s our life’s mission to make sure you can come back to the well.

The most frustrating turn in any romantic comedy is when the leading lady and/or man becomes a jerk. It’s a crucial moment — necessary, even — but it’s always the hump you have to endure in order to get to the part where everyone learns their lesson, embraces their truth, and kisses their hot crush to the triumphant swell of an impossibly catchy pop song that will nonetheless fade from memory by the time the credits roll. Netflix’s upcoming romantic dramedy series “Partner Track,” set at a Manhattan-based white-shoe law firm, has been described as “Sex and the City” meets “Suits,” but for star Arden Cho the series is unlike any other that she’s seen on television. That’s because the story centers on a first-generation Korean American merger and acquisitions lawyer, Ingrid Yun (Cho), as she navigates everything from forbidden romance to microaggressions at the male-dominated company — something Cho said is hard to come by in shows about single 20-something women in New York City.

“Ingrid just sticks out to begin with,” Cho told TheWrap. “She is an Asian American woman, and there is some diversity at the firm but it’s very clearly noted. You’ve just got, ‘Oh, we’ve got a couple of people of color. Let’s stick them together, and that’s your diversity,‘ which is something we see happening in the world.

Amazon Prime Video has released the first trailer for the upcoming series “The Terminal List,” which stars Chris Pratt.

Having not read the book on which it is based, the show feels a lot like the kind of hard-edged, extremely violent, surprisingly character-based exploitation films Arnold Schwarzenegger made in the 1980s in between the blockbusters and franchise films that made him a star.

So it feels appropriate that his son-in-law, Chris Pratt, who has basically turned into what can only be called Dad Bod Arnold, stars in the series — his first TV series regular role since “Parks and Recreation.” And well, the show’s action-packed trailer dropped this morning.

Paramount Pictures is launching development on the thriller “I Am Yours” and has set the project up with Tyler Perry and Platinum Dunes partners Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller.

The studio acquired the spec script from the writing team of Ryan Belenzon and Jeffrey Gelber. The logline is under wraps besides that it involves a stalking element in the vein of “Fatal Attraction.”

Perry, best known for the Madea movies, is in post-production on “Nobody’s Fool,” starring Tiffany Haddish and Tika Sumpter, with Paramount planning a Nov. 2 release. Platinum Dunes produced “A Quiet Place” for Paramount and “The First Purge,” which Universal opens July 4.
