Jéan was raised in Queens, New York City. His family relocated out of Port Au Prince, Haiti during a period of political unrest. His father is an Engineer and his Mother a nurse. Jéan fell in love with acting at a young age, studying the greats like Sidney Poitier, Denzel Washington, Al Pacino and Marlon Brando.
Jéan studied at the London based Identities School of Acting, HB Studios, and also studied philosophy. He's a writer, photographer, director, hip hop artist and a published Poet.
His favorite playwright is August Wilson. Jéan was a model in NYC, gracing the Many different catwalks. He's resided in Germany, thinks Maui has the best pineapples and believes Japan isn't for those who like to sleep. Jéan is lover of people and street art.
