  • He was born on May 4th, Star Wars Day, and is a devoted fan of the franchise.
  • He played the role of the Narrator on the set of 'A Christmas Story Christmas' (2022), the sequel to the 1983 classic 'A Christmas Story', working closely with Peter Billingsley and director Clay Kaytis.

    The role was originally played by the late author of the story Jean Shepherd.
  • His mixed name is because his father is Muslim and his mother is Christian. His maternal great-grandmother was Jewish, from Poltava, Ukraine.
  • In 2023, he officially presented the poetry book "Pirate Poems" to Johnny Depp, to whom it was dedicated by Vanya Petkova - Joseph's late grandmother. She published the book 2 weeks before passing away in 2009, and then 12 year-old Joseph vowed to give it to Depp one day, and succeeded 14 years later.
