    • Jardine Libaire has published six novels between 2004 and 2017, in the US as well as France, Germany and the UK: Here Kitty Kitty, The Upper Class Series, and White Fur. She has a new book coming out in 2020 with Tarcher/Penguin Random House. She adapted White Fur as a TV series for FilmNation/Amazon. A documentary poem/photography collaborative book she published in 2017 called Gravity is Stronger Here (that tracks a phenomenal family challenged by lack of income and meth addiction) won Honorable Mention for the Dorothea Lange-Paul Taylor Award. She has received residency fellowships at: Yaddo, Edward F. Albee Foundation, the Ucross Foundation, Norton Island, the Constance Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts, Brush Creek Arts Foundation, and The Ledig House from 2004-present. She volunteered for the Truth Be Told personal storytelling program in Texas prisons for women from 2015-2018. She is the recipient of the Colby Fellowship, the Hopwood Award for Major Fiction, and the Glascock Poetry Prize. She received her BA in English/Writing from Skidmore College and her MFA in Creative Writing from The University of Michigan. She also belonged to a collective of artists and performers in Austin, Texas called Fleurs du Mal who together created many art installations and interactive parties, starring everyone from Katy Red to Richard Hell to Bushwick Bill.
