Biography

Michael Bekemeier grew up in Mandeville, LA until 2017. After attending LSU for a mechanical engineering degree he moved to Atlanta, GA to pursue a life a stunt performer. Now as a stunt and creature performer he's is best know as the Boogeyman in Stephen King's "The Boogeyman" and the Humanoid Spider & The Entity in Blumhouse's movie, "Imaginary". But has appeared as many more creatures in Raising Dion and Zack Snyder's, Army of the Dead. And many non-creature roles such as Stranger Things. He is a Parkour/Freerunning trainee for over 15 years and specializes in creature work and contortion stunts. He also holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest walker in a back bend. He has been married to Chelsea Bekemeier since 2021.
