Vijay Jagarlamudi, was born in Karamchedu, present Andhra Pradesh. Vijay found his gateway to Cinema Industry when he decided to join Padmalaya Studios as an Apprentice who was keen to learn the mechanism of film production. There he progressed and being a quick learner he adapted himself to the technicalities and management of what it takes to be a Production manager.
He took the next leap by joining Ramanaidu Studios and with his sheer determination and the ease to learn more, he was promoted as the line producer for their films by ace producer Suresh babu. He was a crucial part in the film making process. He has climbed the ladder of Production Manager to Production Controller and Line Producer by his extreme handwork and talent. Time management and resolving issues without effecting the shooting process was and is his forte. While working in Ramanaidu Studios and since cinema is all about working with multilingual technicians, he learnt Tamil and became well verse with the language.
He saw a great growth in the Studios and became their the Go to Guy for any problem. As time progressed, and when he got the opportunity of interacting and working with India's Biggest Superstar " Rajnikanth " he grabbed it two hands and made his presence felt in the movie making process. This caught the attention of Rajnikanth and they got along very well from there on. While he was working with AVM Studios, he shifted his base to Chennai for few years and went onto associate with bigger projects and bigger directors " Shankar, Murugadoss, Maniratnam ". He has been a crucial part as an Line Producer for their films. He has worked on Films like " Sivaji, Robo " and is Currently working on Mani Ratnam Dream project " Ponniyum Selvam Part 1 and 2 ".
He has established a production house of his own too, its named " Golden Rain Productions ". Vijay has also been the line producer of films in other banners too. He was the Line Producer for Producer Danayya on his film " Vinaya Vidheya Rama ". Vijay is more of a Producer and Director Friendly line Producer who makes sure he bridges the Creative and Commercial segments with the right phrases of work. He has explored his art and technique of blending commerce by being a Part of films which span from Periodical to Dramas. With a Career Spanning over 25 years he is a name to bank on for any Production House, especially the Big Budgeted and Star Studded Films. To handle not just South Indian but Pan Indian Actors speaks volumes about his work and experience. He is soon going to Produce a Movie and wants to establish his banner which encourages New Talent and content.
