Biography

China Green was born & raised in Kentucky. While her five siblings were pursuing fields in the athletics she fell in love with acting. Her first love began in film while shooting in her hometown for Dreamer. After seeing how the film world worked she knew there was so much more to learn. Her parents introduced her to theatre where she participated in multiple local plays. The more she learned the more she wanted to grow and take the craft more seriously. China auditioned and landed herself a position in the School for Creative & Performing Arts as a Theatre major & Contemporary Dance minor. She studied competitively & intensely from 8th grade to her senior year of high school. During her training at SCAPA she participated in a plethora of plays & musicals. While most seniors were applying to colleges, China was certain what she wanted to do with her life already! Although she learned so much studying and training in theatre she knew what her first love was. China wanted to re-introduce herself to the Film/TV world. But she knew she needed more training specifically for Film/TV. China auditioned for the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and landed herself a position in their program! For two very intense years, China trained at NYCDA learning new things like Meisner, Suzuki, Viewpoints, Camera Technique, Commercials, Auditioning, Hosting, Webseries & more! China also had amazing opportunities understanding filmmaking (behind and in front of the camera) & also interned for multiple casting directors including Caroline Sinclair. China graduated from NYCDA making her family proud to finally have someone in the family with an Associates degree. China took on the real world as a New Yorker landing herself a pilot written by Gregory Allen Howard & worked opposite of Diggy Simmons. As China continued to pursue acting her talents took her to Atlanta, GA working theatrically for rapper TI & Grand Hustle Music as a performer. China has last been seen on TV One & Kweli TV and continues to work professionally as an actor. China now has a son who has watched his mom audition and film & expressed his own desires to pursue the craft. She is tickled by her sons shared love for the craft and finding herself in a "momager" position. China continues to work professionally as an actor & hopes to only continue to work professionally as an actor.
