Chihaya Yoshitake , a singer and voice actor who is best known for her theme song works for the Precure anime franchise, posted a music video for her solo artist debut song, "Hajimari no Aizu" ("Signal for the Beginning"), on ABC Animation official YouTube channel today. The song will be featured as the opening theme for the upcoming Light-novel Anime project. Yoshitake left her previous agency Apollo Bay on June 30, and on the following July 1, she announced her debut as a solo artist from ABC Animation. The next arc of Pokémon Horizons is already making waves with its decision to employ a time skip — the first in Pokémon anime history! More news for the upcoming series was revealed today as musical duo Yuzu will perform the new opening theme "Get Back." The group, consisting of Yujin Kitagawa and Kouji Iwasawa, performed theme songs for several other anime TV series and films, including Hunter x Hunter , Doraemon and Crayon Shin-chan . "Get Back" marks two big returns for the group: The first time the duo has collaborated on lyrics in five years and their first anime theme song since 2018! During AnimeJapan 2024 on Saturday, Dmm held a stage event for its forthcoming anime projects and confirmed that its original co-production with P.A. Works, Nanare Hananare , will premiere in July. Yujin Kitagawa of Japanese group Yuzu will serve as the composer of the anime's opening and ending themes. The themes "Cheer For You" and "with" will have the anime's main cast members performing under the name of their in-show cheerleading squad PoMPoMs. Ahead of the AnimeJapan stage event, an advanced screening was held at Takasaki Electric Museum in Takasaki City in Gunma prefecture on March 17 with voice actors Rika Nakagawa (Kanata) and Yuki Nakashima (Suzuha) in attendance.
