In his new role, he will oversee all physical production for the company’s U.S. unscripted studio, including pre-production, budgeting, production and post-production for development projects and active productions. This will include oversight of “Family Feud,” “American Idol” and “America’s Got Talent” as well as Fremantle’s Haven Studios operations, which permanently houses “Let’s Make A Deal” and “The Price Is Right.”
Woodward, who will continue to report to Fremantle North America COO Suzanne Lopez, first joined the company in 2014 and most recently served as senior vice president of production. Exclusive: America’s Got Talent is losing one of its longest-tenured talents.
Jason Raff, who has served as showrunner of the long-running NBC hit for 19 seasons, has left the show.
After 482 original episodes including 140 hours of live episodes, Raff told Deadline that he was informed that he was being let go the day after season 19 finished at the end of September due to budget cuts.
Raff also developed and served as showrunner for all of the show’s spinoffs including America’s Got Talent: The Champions, AGT: Extreme, America’s Got Talent: All-Stars and America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League.
Sam Donnelly, who has served as showrunner alongside Raff, will continue as solo showrunner on Season 20 show, which is produced by Fremantle and Syco Entertainment, and will likely air in May 2025.
Raff told Deadline that nearly 20 years ago, he was handed a DVD of a presentation for British broadcaster ITV called Paul’s O’Grady’s Got Talent.

As a result of a $1.25 billion revamp of the location, The Price is Right is on the move.
When The Price Is Right Season 52 enters production later this year, it will be at Haven Studios in Glendale.
"In light of Hackman Capital Partners' plans to undergo a major renovation at Television City, the time has come to move television's longest running game show, The Price Is Right, into a new home," said Suzanne Lopez, COO of Fremantle (which produces Tpir), in a statement.
"While we bid a fond farewell to this cultural landmark, we are excited to say that we will be moving into a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility at Haven Studios."

Applications are now being accepted for a career initiative to provide traditionally unrepresented groups with a pathway to behind the scenes skills and jobs.
Late last year, the Handy Foundation was awarded the Pilot Career Pathways Training Program by the California Film Commission. Breaking down into five separate programs, the one-year pilot received a total grant of 130,000 from the state funded Cfc. Hollywood CPR and Manifest Works are also part of the program.
“Our long-term goal is to standardize sustainable pathways to these technical jobs and careers behind the scenes such that they become more diverse, equitable, and accessible to those willing to do the work it takes to be successful,” says Ri-Karlo Handy of the Cfc program and the Foundation’s motivations.
