Biography

Rosario Amico is a film/stage actor born on June 24, 1999 in Mineola, NY to Italian-American parents Vita (Cacioppo) and Alfonso Amico. He started his career on stage performing in local shows where he became known for his triple threat show stopping vocals, choreography, and acting. After deciding to pursue his passion he enrolled at the premier visual and performing arts college The New York Film Academy where he built a strong foundation studying the Sandy Meisner acting technique and gaining comprehensive on-camera acting experience. He has many other interests such as golfing, singing, playing his guitar or just simply hanging out with his close friends and family. Rosario, named after his paternal grandfather, is very family oriented and believes his Sicilian roots keep him grounded in the love of his family. Rosario made his national television and global streaming debut as Patrick Austin on the new original series written and directed by award winning filmmaker David Chai titled A Good Cop which premiered on NTD Network Sunday December 5th 2021.
