The terrible lizards of Jurassic Park are back this summer in Jurassic World: Rebirth. But that isn't the only movie with a prehistoric rampage hitting screens this year. The VR Velociraptors of The Jurassic Games are back in a new sequel, The Jurassic Games: Extinction, and Collider has an exclusive first look at the movie's new trailer and poster. The film will be released On Demand and Digital on June 24, and on Blu-ray and DVD on July 22.

The Jurassic Games films are set in a dystopian future where the titular program is the most popular game show in the world. In it, ten death-row inmates are sent into a virtual reality world where they must battle bloodthirsty prehistoric predators to survive. Naturally, if you die in the game, you die in real life. In this sequel, Joy Lafort is the show's new host, but during her first broadcast, things start to go haywire.

“Reverence,” an upcoming thriller from writer-director Kyle Kauwika Harris (“Out of Exile”), has started production in Oklahoma.

The film began principal photography this week, with a logline reading: “‘Reverence’ is a dark and moody missing person’s thriller about a traumatized father coming to terms with his violent military past, while searching for his missing daughter in a small, rural town. As police investigate, the circumstances around the case spiral out of control.”

“Reverence” stars Adam Hampton (“Out of Exile”), Whit Kunschick (“Country Gold”), Gattlin Griffith (“The Boys”), Connie Franklin (“Agent Jade Black”) and Ryan Francis (“Hook”). Shawn Michaels is many things: a WWE legend, an actor, and a devout Christian. At times, a couple of those may not seem to jive together, something we asked the wrestling icon about ahead of his latest movie premiere.

In “90 Feet From Home,” which debuts Thursday night at Hollywood’s TLC Chinese Theater, Michaels plays a physically and emotionally abusive step-dad to a promising young baseball player. It’s a very un-Christian role, and Michaels had his doubts about accepting such gigs. But a fellow WWE Hall of Famer, who happens to also be an ordained minister, gave the Heartbreak Kid his blessing — and the rock-solid reasoning behind it.

“I’ve always been intrigued that, for whatever reason, when your life changes because of your faith, somehow you’re not allowed to act in a different way,” Michaels told TheWrap. “When I first got saved, I did struggle with it.

Shawn Michaels had some iconic WWE matches with The Undertaker. In the new movie “90 Feet From Home,” the retired wrestler may end up on the gurney of an actual undertaker.

In the film’s teaser trailer, which is exclusive to TheWrap, Michaels stars as the abusive father to a retired Major League Baseball player (Adam Hampton). Hampton’s character (who is described as “troubled”) returns to rural Texas to confront — and ultimately plot to kill — his dad.

Eric Roberts, Dean Cain, Thom Hallum, Steven Michael Quezada and Alexandria DeBerry also star.

Have you ever wondered privately what it might be like if the Jurassic Park franchise was thrown in a blender with The Hunger Games, but given a very small budget in order to make it happen? No, folks, this is not an April fools day joke. A movie called The Jurassic Games has started production. And it promises to mashup the best elements of popular franchises The Hunger Games and Jurassic World. It doesn't sound like your typical spoof, either, but instead will be an on-the-level sci-fi action thriller. Though, probably not with the big budget VFX you're used to seeing at the local cinema.
