Tiana Gowen is a talented Asian-American actress involved in various artistic disciplines from a young age, including acting, dancing, singing, music, and poetry. She started her performing arts journey with ballet recitals at the age of 2 and made her debut in 'The Nutcracker' at 5. Tiana has landed leading and supporting roles in regional productions such as 'Matilda the Musical,' 'The Sound of Music,' and 'Annie.' In 2019, she made her film debut in the Hallmark Channel movie 'True Love Blooms' alongside Sara Rue. Shortly after signing with her Los Angeles manager, Tiana achieved a significant career milestone by securing a series regular role as Daisy Woo in Amazon's Limited Series 'Expats,' where she portrayed Nicole Kidman's daughter. The production presented challenges due to the Covid pandemic, filming in Hong Kong and Los Angeles. In addition to ballet, Tiana is trained in Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Improv, and Hip Hop dance styles. She is also a skilled pianist, recognized by the Florida State Music Teachers Association. Tiana's dedication to the arts extends to her education. She attended a prestigious Performing Arts middle school in Florida and spends three months each year attending school in Japan. Fluent in Japanese, she effortlessly navigates the language. Tiana excels academically and recently participated in her first debate competition, earning third place for her speech on her Asian-American experience. Tiana's passion for storytelling is not limited to performing. She has been recognized for her exceptional writing skills with the International Torrance Legacy Creativity Awards. During her free time, Tiana enjoys quality time with her loved ones and indulges in surfing, following in her father's footsteps who was a renowned competitive surfer.
