Biography

Based in Oklahoma City, Kourtney Ryann is an actress with a drive for success and passion for film. Born and raised in the heart of Oklahoma, Kourtney has had the opportunity to grow and flourish right alongside the local film industry. Always knowing she was destined for the screen, Kourtney has been preparing herself for a career in acting since she was ten. Once she completed high school and entered into college, she began to take more serious steps towards pursuing her dreams.

Spending the Summer of 2019 in LA, Kourtney was able to further develop her improv skills at the Upright Citizens Brigade. During her stay, she also had the opportunity to enhance her scene study skills with the professionals at Ivana Chubbuck Studio. Now, primarily working between Texas and Oklahoma, Kourtney is always finding classes to take, books to read, events to attend, professionals to connect with and films to watch and study so she may continue to sharpen her craft.

After four years of learning about the history of the industry, and deepening her passion for the filmmaking process, Kourtney graduated from the University of Oklahoma in Spring 2020 with a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Media Studies. Regardless of the difficulties that being a "Covid Graduate," launched into the world amidst the on-going pandemic, Kourtney has continued to work hard, doing whatever it takes, to continue advancing toward her dream of being an actress.

In 2021, Kourtney was able to wrap several feature films, commercials, and internet projects. She is using that momentum to continue moving forward in the industry and book even more opportunities in the coming year. Kourtney looks forward to connecting with you and discussing the possibility of working together in the near future.
