Writer-director Thomas J. Churchill, known for his work on The Amityville Trilogy and Big Freaking Rat, has announced his next feature film, The 3 Killer Pigs, a horror-thriller which begins shooting this month in Los Angeles. The film features an all-star cast, including television icon Anson Williams, Robert Carradine, Brian Austin Green, Richard Gabai (Night of the Living Dead 2025) and Robert Lasardo, along with William McNamara, James Pratt, Sadie Katz, Jody Quigley, Tommy Morgan Jr. (The Bridge to Nowhere), social media sensation Rachel Pizzolato and Dancing with the Stars alumni, Sharna Burgess in her feature film debut.

“Mythbusters” stars Adam Savage, Kari Byron and Tory Belleci were among those paying tribute to the late race car driver Jessi Combs following after she died in a crash on Tuesday.

“She was a brilliant & too-notch builder, engineer, driver, fabricator, and science communicator, & strove everyday to encourage others by her prodigious example,” Savage wrote in a tweet on Wednesday. “She was also a colleague, and we are lesser for her absence.”

Jay Leno, who hosted the driver on an episode of his CNBC show, “Jay Leno’s Garage,” also paid tribute to Combs on Twitter, writing, “Your memory lives on.”

In the episode “Weaponizer” (airing Monday at 9/8c), Lucifer is excited to investigate the murder of his favorite action-movie hero, Wesley Cabot. Carpenter guest-stars as Jamie Lee Adrienne, a former, hard-partying Playmate who was married to Wesley — and thus, as murder investigations go, lands squarely in the cops’ crosshairs.

According to EW, Charisma Carpenter has joined the cast of Lucifer season 2. The former Buffy/Angel actress landed the guest role of Jamie Lee Adrienne, who is described as "a smoking hot former Playmate with a lot of party years on her. Jamie is married to a once-successful action star. Her tone suggests genuine sadness and pain, but she’s likely hiding something." Carpenter first teased the role herself on Instagram, posting a few snaps from the set. She joins fellow season 2 newcomers Tricia Helfer (as Lucifer’s mom) and Michael Imperioli (as his brother, Uriel).
