Aria Bedmar is a Spanish actress and dancer, active in both television and film, hailing from the province of Almería, Andalusia. She first cultivated her artistic talents at Colegio Portocarrero in Roquetas de Mar, where she also trained as a dancer at the municipal school. Following her academic studies and completion of the selectividad exam, Bedmar relocated to Madrid to pursue acting, training under the renowned Cristina Rota.

Her screen debut came with the series La caza. Monteperdido, but Bedmar gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Camino Pasamar in the period drama Acacias 38. Her nuanced performance as Camino, a character navigating a clandestine same-sex relationship in early 20th-century Spain, resonated deeply with audiences and sparked a passionate online following known as the "Maitino" fandom, named after the on-screen couple Camino and Maite.

Bedmar continued to build her career with roles in acclaimed series including The Cook of Castamar, Dime Quién Soy: Mistress of War, Heirs to the Land, and Operación Barrio Inglés, as well as the Netflix horror film Sister Death, where she played the lead role of Narcisa, a novice nun with supernatural abilities. Her versatility extends to dance, having performed with the band Megara, including at Eurovision 2024, and she has contributed to music videos and live performances.

Beyond her screen work, Bedmar is recognized for her advocacy and impact within the LGBTQ community, often speaking about the importance of representation and inclusion in media. Her influence extends internationally, inspiring audiences with both her artistry and her commitment to visibility and equality in the entertainment industry.
