Created and produced by Joe and Tony Gayton, Hell on Wheels was initially broadcast on AMC, and ran for five seasons. Led by Anson Mount as Cullen Bohannon, the rest of the cast includes Colm Meaney (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), Common (John Wick: Chapter 2), and Dominique McElligott (The Boys).

Hell on Wheels did find a small cult following at the time, but now that the series is available to stream on Freevee, the show has reached heights of #9 in the top 10 so far.

Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins have joined the fifth and final season of “The Boys” as guest stars, reuniting with their fellow “Supernatural” alum, Jensen Ackles.

But he also took to the mic to answer some questions regarding the upcoming fifth and final season of The Boys, the show that shot him into stardom some years ago when he was still only known for being Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan's son. A few years have passed, and Quaid has become part of the new Hollywood generation and one to watch.

The Boys offered glimpses of Homelander at his breaking point, which doesn't bode well for anyone caught in his tantrums. Showrunner Eric Kripke hinted the fans will finally see the supe's complete meltdown in the series finale.

"He's literally all trauma," he told Variety. That could suggest he's finally lost his humanity; he now has unfettered power as Vought overlord and United States dictator. He also has the support of a supe army, and that validation could push him to sever his relationship with Ryan. These fly in the face of his impending mortality, however, which fuels internal conflicts he "resolved" in Season 4 when he massacred those scientists at the Vought laboratory.

They won't be alone, however, as a new Supe has been cast in the fifth and final season of The Boys, as well as its Vought-centric spinoff.

Entertainment Weekly exclusively reports that Mason Dye, who previously appeared in Stranger Things, has been added to The Boys universe as Bombsight. The character is the third-oldest active Supe, just behind Stormfront and Soldier Boy, who started their careers in the 1950s. Although Dye is reportedly only a guest star in The Boys Season 5, he will have a recurring role in the prequel Vought Rising.

It's hard to be the most despicable character in The Boys, but playing a literal Nazi might just do it. Stormfront (Aya Cash) is returning for the show's first prequel series, titled Vought Rising, along with fan favorite Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles). Production is yet to begin on the highly-anticipated show, but Cash already has fans excited, teasing that Vought Rising could be peak The Boys.

Speaking to Screen Rant at the red carpet for her new HBO comedy series, The Franchise, Aya Cash was asked about her surprise return as Stormfront in Vought Rising. The actress started out by making an important public safety announcement, emphasizing that her character in the show and herself are two Very different people. "I want to be clear. She bad. She real bad. She bad bad bad. I don't agree with her. And I can't fly. We are different people," Cash said.

The Boys showrunner, Eric Kripke, has spilled the beans about who will die in the upcoming season 5, and the easy answer is "anyone." When asked which character is most likely to meet their maker in the final season of Prime Video's superhero series, he didn't hesitate to say there is no guarantee of any popular characters surviving. It seems that as the series reaches its conclusion, not even the titular Boys are safe from what is sure to be a glorious and gory bloodbath. Per Kripke's own words of excitement:

While speaking to Games Radar at the San Diego Comic-Con, Kripke was open to the idea of killing off any characters because they won't come back again for another season:

The Boys Season 5 will finally see Soldier Boy and Homelander exploring their father/son relationship in a little more depth, something that Eric Kripke says will form a large part of the final season of the superhero series. While Jensen Ackles character only appeared in the final moments of Season 4, held in suspended animation, the promise of what that means for the future is just one of the reasons fans are now wishing away the two years until the final season rolls out.
