Appearance: A low budget, gory horror directed by indie veteran Todd Sheets featuring practical effects, blood and guts. About a mother and daughter escaping an abusive relationship and falling prey to a cannibalistic sadist who kidnaps and tortures women. It’s a werewolf film.

So, where’s the werewolf?

Good question. They turn up at the beginning and at the end. Basically, mother and daughter Emily and Eden Stevens (played by Eli DeGeer and Ana Plumberg) escape a violent home and run into a werewolf, whereupon they escape and find themselves trapped by psychopath Coen Anders until the werewolves arrive at the end.

So, it’s a case of “where wolf?” Hahahaha!

Werewolf Thriller Bonehill Road Continues a Film Festival Run into 2018
Tagline: "There's a Wolf at the Door." Bonehill Road is a werewolf film from Extreme Entertainment. A teaser trailer for the film was released for this title, in November. Since November, this title has had its World Premiere at Kansas City. It continues a film festival run, this year. Utilizing all practical effects only, Bonehill Road tells the story of a mother and daughter. They are put to flight only to find themselves amongst a pack of werewolves, on an isolated road. They seek shelter. Inside, they find a hidden threat. Horror veteran Linnea Quigley (Graduation Day) stars in this feature, along with Eli DeGeer (Empire State of the Dead, 2016) and Ana Plumberg. Eric Stanze is someone that I have known for some time now, maybe almost a decade. He has always been someone I have looked up to when it comes to independent filmmaking. The Scare Game, The Fine Art and Savage Harvest were the first truly independent films I rented on VHS. Stanze’s films introduced me to the world of B-Movie.com which was run by Salt City Home Video, a company that is still in business today under Sub Rosa Studios, which left quite an impression with me in my formative teenage years as a budding horror film fiend.
