Fábio Mendes
Fábio Mendes is a multimedia writer, born in São Paulo, living in Rio de Janeiro who loves to write comedy and drama for TV, Videos On Demand, Theatre and films.

He has worked for major players such as Globo TV, Amazon Prime Video, GNT and Multishow.

Mendes started his artistic career as an actor, on theatre. He started writing professionally when he won a Contest Award for the first piece he ever did: "Flyer", an underground screenplay for a featured film.

Mendes worked as one of the writers of "Rules of the Game" by João Emanuel Carneiro, at Globo TV, nominated for the International Emmy® Award, on the category "Telenovela".

In 2007, Mendes was part of the creation team of "Alice", an original series created for the Brazilian branch of the HBO Latin America.

On the same year, Mendes created, wrote, directed and produced "The Messenger", a 5 episodes web-series, a doc-drama about Chico Xavier, Brazil's greatest spiritualist leader, made for the American Spirit Foundation (AKES).

On theatre, he won 2 Critics'Choice Awards, in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, as Best Author, for his monologue "The Lame Dog Show". The play was produced when Mendes won a Portuguese-Brazilian Contest Awards from Camões Institute (Portugal) and Foundation for the Arts Brasil. The play was edited in book.

Mendes also won another Contest Awards from "Foundation for the Arts Brasil", in 2004, for his "a boy's blog", his first work for teenagers. Mendes also wrote, "A man called Lee", a musical comedy produced in 2006.
