Mumbai, June 30 (Ians) Popular TV actor Vishal Kotian, who is best known for his role in ‘Akbar Ka Bal… Birbal’ and his participation in ‘Bigg Boss 15’, will be seen doing an action-packed cameo as Bajarnagi, an auto-rickshaw driver and a Hanuman bhakt in the drama series ‘Maitree’.

‘Maitree’ follows the journey of Maitree (Shrenu Parikh) and Nandini (Bhaweeka Chaudhary) who went from being soul sisters to bitter enemies. The show recently took a short six-month leap, where the audience saw Maitree’s first husband Saaransh (played by Kunal Karan Kapoor) coming back from the grave to wreak havoc in her life.

Talking about his cameo, Vishal said, “I am super excited for this cameo. In fact, I could only take it up because it’s a cameo. I have been offered a lot of television projects, but I can’t do a daily soap as I am busy with my film and Ott project.

Former ‘Bigg Boss 15’ contestant Vishal Kotian appeared on the reality show ‘Bigg Buzz’ and gave his perspective on the game with regard to Shalin Bhanot and Mc Stan. He said: “Mc Stan has no standing in the house, he is doing nothing but just trying to find honesty in a show where everyone is competing to win, which completely makes no sense, he looks so lost and confused sometimes, it’s time that he ups his game.”

In the recent episodes, a lot of differences have been created between Shalin Bhanot, Tina Datta, and Sumbul Touqeer. Sumbul was seen crying and getting hurt because of Tina and Shalin. In fact, her father asked her to stay away from both of them. Even the host, Salman Khan roasted Shalin.

Former ‘Bigg Boss 15’ contestant Vishal Kotian has taken a dig at current season’s contestant Tina Datta’s statement of being a ‘brand’.

In last week’s episode of ‘Bigg Boss 16’, Tina was talking to Shaleen, saying that she is a brand.

She said: “I’m a brand. You think I’ll get evicted before Soundarya Sharma? She has around 6 million followers on social media but hardly gets comments on her posts.”

‘Bigg Boss 15’ contestant Vishal Kotian took to Twitter on Monday and and took a dig at Tina’s claim of being a brand.

He wrote: “Heard #TinaDatta saying she is a brand. I wonder if it’s Rupa underwear baniyan. They come to a reality show and act like stars. Be real n ppl will like u. #ShivThakare #MCStan n #AbduRoziq the only real players in Bigg Boss 16.”

‘Bigg Boss 15’ fame Pratik Sehajpal has expressed his gratitude to TV entrepreneur Ekta Kapoor for offering him a part in her show ‘Naagin 6’. The actor is elated to have got his first break in one of the popular serials.
