Dominique Gayle
- Actress
Dominique Gayle is a multifaceted actress with life-long immersion in the arts. Born and raised in Miami, FL, she was submerged in her Jamaican and Indian culture full of diversity, energy, and music. Dominique hosted nightly living room performances for the family to watch and laugh. She was an entertainer before she even knew what an entertainer was.
These shows exposed her knack for performing, and her parents believed she should learn an instrument to focus her creative energy. By the age of 7, she started her classical piano training and continues today. In middle school, she moved to Orlando, FL, and Dominique was exposed to various channels to pour her creative energy into, where dancing and acting took precedence. Through middle and performing arts high school, she actively pursued her passions performing in many school plays and competing in various dance competitions building and honing in on her crafts.
Her next adventure came when she moved back to Miami to attend Florida International University to switch it up a bit. With a new direction leading her into the medical field, Dominique graduated with honors earning her bachelor's degree as a double major in Interdisciplinary Sciences and Psychology with a minor in Biology. Through her years of study in college, she still felt incomplete. Dominique knew what the void was and why it was there. Though she is grateful for her college experience, medicine didn't bring her the same joy and fulfillment as performing. She decided to burn those bridges and take a leap with faith in herself. Shortly after graduating, she moved 2,761 miles away from home to Los Angeles to work as a full-time actress. Since moving to Los Angeles in January of 2020, Dominique is now represented by Innovative Artists, Cohn / Torgan Management, and attorney Chad Christopher of Goodman Genow Schenkmam and has been apart of two films: First Love and Sour Milk. Dominique's professionalism and passion for her craft is impressive to most and leaves an impactful performance after each project and audition.
