Vic Kings, born Victor Henrique Carvalho Reis, is a Brazilian filmmaker. He was born on May 31, 1994 in São Paulo, SP, Brazil, and studied Cinema at the University Anhembi Morumbi in São Paulo from 2012 to 2015. He's a director and screenwriter member of the Coletivo DEMO 1/4 Filmes, a film collective of filmmakers who work together in the production of short films. He directed five short films, including "La Vie En Noir" (2015), "Dissonante" (2016) and "Concrete" (2016), all produced by Coletivo DEMO 1/4 Filmes. With "Dissonante", he and co-writer Guilherme Pulga were selected and nominated for a diversity of festivals in Brazil and abroad, including the nominations of "Best Screenplay of a Foreign Language FIlm" in the 3rd International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema of Nice (France) and "Best Short Film" in the 4th Plateau - International Cinema Festival of Praia (Cape Verde).
