Miguel Ioan Littin-Menz was born in Santiago, Chile, and grew up between Mexico City and Madrid, Spain.

As a cinematographer, he is best known for the multi-award-winning 'The Vast of Night', Machuca, Hands of Stone, and Violeta Went to Heaven, among others.

Recently, he collaborated with Andrew Patterson on 'The Rivals of Amziah King', the film that brought Matthew McConaughey back to acting after a six-year hiatus. He also worked on the comedy 'Any Day Now', directed and written by Eric Aronson and inspired by the infamous unsolved Isabella Gardner Museum heist in Boston, as well as Hijra, a road movie filmed across Saudi Arabia and directed by Venice Film Festival award-winner Shahad Ameen.

His work has been featured and awarded at prestigious film festivals, including Cannes, Venice, Toronto, Sundance, and Camerimage. His television work includes limited series for major platforms such as HBO, Amazon, Netflix, and TNT. He has also shot over 300 commercials for global brands. With extensive experience filming across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America,

Miguel is currently based in New York, NY.
