- Shelley Q is an actress and singer who was born and raised on a farm in Western Australia. After gaining local fame as a singer and performer (frequently taking the stage during halftime at AFL games), Shelley broke through to an international audience, landing the lead role of Karissa in the US social media thriller 1 Million Followers (Amazon Prime and Apple TV), after responding to a worldwide casting call.
Now based in Los Angeles, Shelley is also making waves as a recording artist. Her debut single The Stand was featured on Spotify's Release Radar and several radio playlists, reaching 15,000 streams within its first two weeks. Her follow-up, Angels Cry, also received early momentum. - Shelley grew up on a farm in rural Western Australia.
- In addition to singing and composing, Shelley plays the guitar, piano, and percussion.
- At age 10 she use to entertain the elderly at nursing homes with impersonations of Johnny Cash and Michael Jackson. This inspiration came after falling in love with the film Walk the Line (2005) when she was a little girl. To this day Johnny Cash remains her favorite artist.

- In 2021, Shelley was cast as a lead in her first feature film; Darkest Age - the second largest independent feature to be shot in Western Australia in 2021. Shortly after wrapping on the film, and after a worldwide search by director Harvey Lowrey, Shelley auditioned and was booked as the title lead in the US feature film 1 Million Followers, marking her international debut. Shelley has recently wrapped filming in Thailand and Canada.
