Jeff Camp writes screenplays about beauty school dropouts, unfortunate soldiers and other
romantic types. His film Oscar Zulu screened at Palm Springs ShortFest, FilmLand and Athens
Film Fest. Originally from the Ohio Valley he served in the US Air Force as a FireFighter,
including a tour in Iraq. Surprisingly, his closest call occurred in the Marshall Islands when a
typical brush fire turned out to be a smoking white phosphorus grenade from WWII.
Following his service, Jeff completed a BA in History, Magna Cum Laude, from the City University of New York (Baruch College). As a student he became involved in political activism as an organizer where he discovered the importance of filmmaking as a means of communication.
