- In 2000 he decided to become a certified personal trainer and not wait tables anymore. He achieved his certification by A.C.E. and has been a personal trainer ever since.
- He worked as a waiter at the Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel from 1995 to 2000.
- He graduated from the N.Y. Institute of Technology in 1973 with a B.F.A. in Advertising Design. He decided to pursue acting when he was 26 and became the "conciliatory waiter" at the same time.
