Megha Chowdhury began performing at a young age, starting dance at two and a half, and later joining school plays and modeling shows by the 5th grade. At 15, she became a VJ for Bengali music channel Sangeet Bangla. Megha's film debut came in Kolkata with Amar Prem before she moved to Bombay, where she transitioned into South Indian cinema with roles in Marshall, Varmaa, Kothikommachi, and Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi. With seven released films, Megha is currently working on three more, including Gopo Ne Modh Charan-the first one-take film in Bengali-and Koti Kumbachchi, directed by National Award-winner Satish Vegesna.
Megha was also featured alongside Alia Bhatt in a Nihaar Naturals campaign and has appeared in ads for Tanishq, Shoppers Stop, fbb, and Jeevansaathi. She is also been the brand ambassador for JAC Olivol for almost a decade.
An alumna of St. Xavier's Institution, Kolkata, and a Mass Communication graduate from Amity University, Megha also gained early experience as a casting assistant on MS Dhoni and as an assistant director on Haseena Parker.
